  1. I replied to an arch comment. He simply wasn’t very good it consistent for early games. It’s observational not critical. He got better. The easiest way to say this is that late season arch played that way from the beginning, we’re in the playoffs. It isn’t blamed, just reasoned. Though, “hero ball” definitely opens up to injuries.
  2. It’s close. He missed some significant, and momentum killing, easy throws against osu. That win shifts the season. He’s the primary reason we had a chance to recover and make the playoffs but his poor play against the cream puffs also didn’t help the optics. Oline is #1, Akina/pk secondary, and Arch start imho.
  3. So the or at te and the projected 1 at lg in the post need strong summers? So what does that say about the folks behind them? I’d ask the other one but he just ignores me since I gave him feedback 100 years ago.
  4. So it wasn’t OTF Football Staff In the post?
  5. I agree. For your viewing pleasure he should risk an injury. Especially in April. Cut him and save the money. I was disappointed overall. They used pads and helmets. Texas soft is back. Amirite?
  6. But Gerry, what am I paying for if I don’t get all the deeeeeeets…. First the ladies program and now this. Please burn your sources to assuage my curiosities.
  7. I thought it meant from the big10, lol
  8. Super dumb question @Gerry Hamilton. Do you track how many “hi” go on to commit? Not for public consumption but for you to track as seasons change, ie pre/post NIL, etc. If so, is there dramatic change from hi to no or maybe there are fewer hi? Feel free to ignore. I would, lol,
  9. Neither brain nor maturity is fully formed regardless of what they’re paid. They need good people in their lives to advise them on these matters as parents should to raising good humans. It’s nice in their to just say let them choose what they want. Very few athletes have been truly successful with it. Bo was probably the greatest natural athlete of all time and his body couldn’t handle it. Talk about armor. That dude was 1 of 1 and his body broken down. I know a lot of people don’t like 21 but I do and he was another unworldly athlete that did solidly in baseball but wear and tear started showing up for him as well. It’s biology and physiology not heart and desire. In high school, elite athletes can wake up and dominate on natural gifts. In college and pros, specific muscle training for a given sport is often in conflict with another not to include that their bodies never rest or fully heal which is critical to like term health. Maybe basketball and one of the others could work since weight training seems to be less critical and maybe not in conflict but it tears up the knees and joints so it’ll still shorten their career. Also it’s super sad to see these elite bodies kinda broken down later so I could enjoy a sport. IMHO, choose one once in college. When pro, if that elite, maybe split the career. Football first and then baseball since it has a longer shelf life but not concurrent. Now, the real question is if he can play left guard immediately?!! 🤘🏽@Joe Zura
  10. Yeah, the board’s for simpleton whiners yelling at tv 2 minutes into a season. Miserable people love spreading misery. There’s nothing constructive or enlightening from your posts. Just a kid with emotions yelling on the internet. Bravo. There are other sites for your ilk.
  11. Not remotely as irritating as the non stop b!tching from the same folks. Every game isn’t a season. Y’all are much more fatiguing than watching a team grow over the course of a season. That’s part of the fun for the non entitled…
  12. Super funny. Good one. Great job. Clever.
  13. For his sake, I hope he has someone to objectively council him. His body keeps telling him that it can’t handle 2 sports. Hell, don’t know if it can handle one sport. Kinda sounds like when J Whitt he first joined. He needed to change how he lifted etc, if I remember correctly.
  14. I think I’d say respect vs like but I also think that’s what you mean. He’s a strong floor coach. Ceiling tbd. I hate that at the end of the day, there’s a bunch of 6 graders mocking someone’s size. I really miss when Texas fans had basic respect and decency. It’s getting just as bad here as the tos. Nothing witty or funny about and 12 folks laughed at it. Wow.
  15. That dude is proof that a mental eval is critical. He’ll never maximize with how he approaches things. Maybe he knew inside so got the most money he could.
  16. Yall are celebrating but big money is using college football for measuring sticks and vanity. It’s the usfl soon if it keeps going unchecked.
  17. Elko is a good coach. Not sure he is a top tier coach but he has/will definitely set a solid floor for them.
  18. That’s with 1/2 a billy of interesting funds
