  1. These are gold. Thank you for sharing. dude couldn’t turn it off if he tried
  2. Ah, the destruction of college football is almost complete. It’s ceiling with be the USFL. Its floor will be Baseketball. Equity firms and corporate America kill most things.
  3. So weighing in 2 days later helps, 😂? If you understood my perspective or had shared values, you wouldn’t have replied with your agenda. I labeled and accused no one. “Maybe it’s”. Your response is fairly revealing though. The great thing about this post is I got to add a couple to the ignore bin. Welcome to it.
  4. Nah. It’s by not introducing it. I don’t want to know anyone’s politics or any ism on a sports board. I want one place where community and commonality can occur with a singular common bond. Texas football and that’s it. We’ll disagree enough on that alone. lol. Be well.🤘🏽
  5. I’ll never understand anyone that makes politics an actual part of their identity or maybe in this case it’s just good ole fashioned misogyny/racism. 5 people felt the need to endorse it as well. This country now. Sports used to be an escape…
  6. The business part says he’d need to accept a decrease in NIL to stay here. The bigger problem is sark. He finds guys he “loves” and just sticks with them. Simon looked promising and then never got any run. If he comes back, I can’t imagine sark not playing him. Last year should have year 1 for manning. That defense was perfect for a qb on a learning curve. We probably beat OSU and Fl with that defense but he let qe come back. We do this every year on offense. He simply doesn’t play many folks. That’s why we keep missing out on receivers and having so many upper classmen with little game experience on offense. Very frustrating.
  7. There’s really not much havoc. This is a Texas fan problem trying to get into the last spot. In the past, undefeated or really strong 1 loss teams would get left out. Today they don’t. Objectively, in over half our games, we played poorly and not close to playoff level football. Period. We lost to a 4 win team in maybe our worst game in 3 years. We quit in the 4th against Ga. We don’t deserve to get in. Now, our argument to get is that we sit on the fringes and our overall resume provides a stronger argument to get in over other fringe teams. That’s fair. The goalpost moving and bias against Texas is ridiculous and frustrating but let’s stop using language that suggests we earned our way in. We lost 3 games. Crying about the schedule and who we played means we’re looking for a formula vs building a team that wants to play and beat other strong teams. We had 3 chances to win one game with fl and osu right there for the taking. We didn’t. A 2 loss Texas is in. Period. 🤘🏽
  8. Are people that take the internet as gospel? Are people that define the whole of someone with only a fraction of the full picture? are…😂
  9. Making college football watchable? Good teams playing each other vs playing chess trying to get into the playoffs? Being competitive? Enjoy challenges? 🤷🏽‍♂️
  10. Petty and particular. Love it!
  11. Are you okay? I hope so. It’s Thanksgiving Week. May the spirit of the holiday fill your heart! 🤘🏽
  12. No. It only requires class and respect. Clearly you’re one of those because I can, I should and will. Sad but at least I can safely add you to the ignore feature.
  13. And that gives you permission to talk about it somehow? Be better.
  14. Unless you’re in the house at night, stop this crap. None of anyone’s business.
  15. Also nothing to lose for him. Not super respected as an analyst. Knows his part on that program. If anything, he’ll get a lift from all the horn haters.
  16. For sure. We’re east of Atlanta but still well in his backyard. Tons of diamonds outside ATL metro.
  17. 2-0. We finally sack him.
  18. Great post. Wanting to be your best self has nothing to do with conforming. It’s about a self standard that used to matter vs today’s shameless do me mentality. It has to do with self awareness and just caring at all about something other than yourself. Bravo! I know I’ve tripped up here so you’re not alone. Our high school football team played WR last weekend. Long drive just to lose, lol. 🤘🏽
  19. Is silly? Is obtuse? Lacks any understanding? Big boy ball, lmao. I like you Zura but this is a miss from you. Some yall surely miss the point. Sark doesn’t care about this but there’s enough noise that parents and 16/17 yr olds need the reassurance. That’s what chaps his hide. That enough idiots run with anything. Someone here still saying a big donor says he’s leading like all our donors are great dudes without agendas. Please. The machismo angle is so weird. He needs to be Bobby Knight and burn every bridge? Maybe Kirby and b!tch all night at the refs. Yall ask for freeman but he rarely shows out. I guess the Landry’s, Reid’s, and Belichick’s were soft and bad at football. Can we quit showing our a$$es already? I feel like I’m at a different site right now. When a team is down, we’re supposed to rally in support not join the buzzards circling. That doesn’t mean drink the kool-aid but it surely means we don’t flame unsubstantiated rumors. If other teams are causing this, you all are helping with this nonsense. Time to circle the wagons! 🤘🏽
  20. More importantly and to the point, who cares? It’s a nothing burger that he did it. The reactions here to it are the crazy part but that’s merica in ‘25.
  21. This is a tired and inaccurate sentiment. Maybe a few of you need to yell and fake alpha to be successful but almost all science tells us that emotions erode performance. Whatever small lift you get fails in comparison to the drop after. You can’t legislate another’s passion. That’s why recruiting the right person as much as the right talent is paramount. Sark needs to look at his staff and his offensive approach in the offseason. That’s it. Emotions would color them more than help him. Some of yall really don’t get sark’s passion, drive, and commitment. I promise you it’s hundredfold compared to any single person on here. IMHO, He struggles with discernment regarding the theory of his play calls working and the reality of the pieces in place to execute on it. Now, if a light doesn’t turn on, it could be a fatal error that costs him this job. If you look back at film, he can probably point out that he had the correct play call 90-95% of the time. WR or hole would be open but others didn’t do their job to take advantage of this. He’ll have to evolve from this. We’ll have if he can. I think, and hope, he will!🤘🏽
