  1. I think the question should be why has OU always been our main rival and not A&M. It certainly not proximity and definitely not academic rivalry. It is because OU has always been a strong football program and the games usually have national significance. Even though Arkansas never surpassed OU as a rivalry during the SWC days it was certainly viewed as a bigger rivalry than A&M for the same reason. A&M has always been the biggest in-state rival. And there never has been any question about who A&M views as their biggest rival.
  2. OU lost another in-state battle to OSU. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before.
  3. That is entirely too long. Ketch banned me when I complimented him for hiring a real journalist when Chip Brown joined. He accused me of giving backhanded compliments. 😃
  4. I hate to say it, but this is like predicting that Vince Young would be better than Donnie Little. I mean you’re correct, but I don’t know how many kudos that deserves.
  5. There will be at least two and perhaps three games to prove that this was not a fluke.

  6. One more conference win and Texas will equal Schloss’ team last year.
  7. I was waiting for this one.
  8. Love to see this. Nice first start.
  9. Schloss liked my tweet saying that I never used to watch Texas baseball before the regionals but I’m watching this year. And I’m watching this one!
  10. Yes, you did! Now we have to target on our back.
  11. Thank you for this. I was hoping there would be a thread. I think Texas is going to hold on and win this. The women finished third.
  12. We all leave live busy lives, but A&M baseball threads are fun.
  13. He is doing the impossible. So there’s that.
  14. No, it was nothing like that. Those fighting Texas Aggies just ran out of innings.
