  1. I agree with all the points above. I would like to add that I think it is Huge that this will be the 2nd game of the year versus coming out of the gate in '25. I don't think it can be under estimated the impact of a Test Run for Sark, Arch and the skilled Players on Offense and then of course on Defense Muschamps and Gideon get a Game with The Leader wearing the Green Dot under their Belt. And it all gets to be done at Home! Hook'em!!!
  2. I see it very differently than most....Fans are jumping on Texas, Sark and The Staff. If a Freshman came to Texas and expected to start and contribute as a Freshman, then his expectations are out of whack. There is a huge disconnect with many of these 4 and 5 Star High School Recruits. It starts with their Attitudes and Entitlement. Give me a kid who is Poor, Smart, Hungry and has the Desire to the Best everyday and with those traits he will out compete most 4 Stars. This is not a NIL or Portal Problem, this a problem with the kid. I'm beginning to lose patience with many of these kids who run from challenges and adversity. This from Tom Brady:
  3. Agree with all the points above. But, I would like to add that IU roster are collectively a ton of 3 star players versus the 4 and 5 stars at Texas. Therefore, it comes down to Coaching and Development of the players you do have. I ask this: Why did it take a Fall Camp and 5 games with two losses before Flood and Sark to figure out the best O Line combination? Moving Hutson to guard and bringing in Robertson to be center. We constantly discuss players in high school for recruiting, portal, NIL, etc but rarely discuss the growth and maturity of Coaches: Decision making, situational awareness, communication and other traits to be successful. IU is doing it with less talent than other programs. Why? Overpaid Coaches that have figured out that if you win 8+ games and get to 10 from time to time you can ride that gravy train and not get fired…..so, why work hard to train and develop players when you can just recruit talent by using your name, brand and logo.
  4. I’m a slacker. My #1 channel on YouTube. Thanks OTF Crew, you guys are amazing!!!
  5. I Love It! Absolutely!!! The Best Team in the Business! Appreciate all you do! OTF Rocks!!! They work tirelessly.
  6. Texas hangs 27 while absorbing 17. Give me Texas 27 OU 17
  7. I'm not worried about the rain. The footing on natural grass will be important; especially if there is al ot of rain the day before the game. How many games have you seen played in snow? The over typically hits. I'm not worried about the rain; however, the wind is the issue. Candidly, both Teams will have to manage and deal with the elements. Hoping Sark & Co. can solve the problems in making adjustments quicker, more efficient and effectively than The Florida Staff. My #1 Concern is: In the Event of Lightning where it creates a Weather Delay and Teams have to return to The Locker Room - so, The Game has started and and then interrupted - which Staff and Team will do The Best Job at returning to the Field and playing at The Highest Level?
  8. I like Texas here 31-13. Pre season is over. Regular Season is upon us and all, including The Coaching Staff, is Dialed In. This is a battle ground State for Recruiting and a Homecoming for some Players, but this is The Offense and Arch's Coming Out Party. Texas led by Arch lays the wood Hacksaw Jim Duggan Style! I'm going against the popular trend here and taking the Over. Lets Roll!!! Hook'em!
  9. No, our was $205 and we had the deal done because we then had an offer from Oregon for $512 Million
  10. My #1 takeaway from that segment with Gruden: Ewers knows the Game, High Football IQ and understands the nuances of the inner game. The true benefiactor is Arch Manning who spent two years under Quinn to continue his development physically, mentally and emotionally; which includes Leadership. Manning is the winner from Ewers presence and is going to be a huge success at Texas. Hook'em!!!
  11. Im in Sugar Land. Houston is a GO! Sounds like a heap of FUN. Lets Do It! Hook'em!!!
  12. Horrible! Absolute Disaster!
  13. Absolutely Agree. Tired of the Love Fest
  14. Good Saturday Morning Gerry. OTF Family. And Longhorn Nation. It’s Game Day, Let’s Go!!!
