  1. Any word on why Ford didn’t run or do drills? I’m worried he’s a slip-down-the-draft candidate
  2. That was as satisfying a win as I’ve experienced in awhile. Hat tip to RT, he course corrected and got the team ready for that one. Need that same energy every night, as hard as that is. I love following the bubble and agree with your assessment. First priority of course is to make the tourney. But I’d really like to avoid the 8/9 seed line. One win would be tough, but if we did win that’d likely have us playing Purdue or Arizona second round. Both those teams choke consistently but still…
  3. Wouldn’t shock me to see Moore get some run too. He flashed to me in the spring game last year, even with the drops.
  4. Always crazy how excited we are for the classes and then the inevitable attrition and guys that don’t pan out. We really hit on the Oline. As good as advertised, which was HUGE for our program. I think Blue will be a star and drafted in the 2026 draft
  5. What’s his issue? Very worrisome it’s still lingering
  6. Good stuff. Have missed your basketball content. I’ve learned to trust your eye. Here’s hoping you get to breakdown a March madness matchup or three
  7. And just generally improved play by the Horns as they continue to gel and work out their best lineups. Hat tip to RT, they’ve come a long ways in the last month or so. WV home game showed the ceiling. Let’s hope they keep hitting it.
  8. Very surprised to read a Dubose note this early. Good sign. Surprising, but a pleasant one. Love that note on Cruz. He was one of my very favorite recruits. Just seems like a guy that will maximize. He will be a leader too. That was a big get by Flood.
  9. Agree that 8-10 in the big 12 is the most likely outcome. With the way this season has played out I’m “expecting” an unexpected win and expecting an unexpected loss. Probably some nice drama along the way. Seems to the Horns way this year. Ultimately I think we punch our ticket to the dance
  10. Very navigable schedule. Very. Didn’t realize they got such a great draw. If I were a betting man I’d be laying some $$ down on them.
  11. Top 3 is pretty clear for me, though I’m still shaking off the cobwebs from my sever case of battered-fan syndrome. Georgia-Texas-Ole Miss The next tier is fluid. I too tend to think Bama will be just fine, but if teams figure out Milroe then they might be in trouble. I can see OU surprising to the upside or getting shellacked. Ditto LSU. Missouri is a good sleeper pick with all that offensive talent. Auburn could surprise too. Bottom tier of Vandy, Arky, MSU, S Carolina seems pretty set. And the Aggies…hope they crash and burn but they’re definitely in the fungible middle tier
  12. Agree the worry isn’t with this year, it’s 2025 that will be worrisome at IDL. I do believe Bledsoe will surprise to the upside, he really flashed last year IMO
  13. Where is Sanders in the DB pecking order?
  14. Love our class. Just love, love, love our class. I think all have the potential to contribute. I don’t see any obvious reaches, which is rare. That being said I’d move Kibble, Gibson, JJR, and Hills down I’d move Wilson, Butler, and Smith up. Hot take: wouldn’t surprise me to see Wilson as the best corner from this class.
  15. Whataburger all day, every day. In N Out may be the single most overrated restaurant in America
  16. Did we back off Cam Spencer? My read was we sure tried but failed. Man I hope we didn’t concede him…he has been good. Also wish we had picked up Sellers over Horton. Still trying to figure out what’s up with Horton. I know his D is bad but his offense has been too. We need him to play more toward his ceiling IMO
  17. Missed reading your basketball takes, would love some of your high level season thoughts: 1) How do you think Rodney Terry is doing? 2) Think we make the dance? 3) Why are we overall struggling more than expected?
