  1. His natural leadership traits are off the charts. Alpha in every way.
  2. Tough one, Blake! I’d go with Foster, still holding a record and a part of some incredible teams in the era. Malcolm was also good, but I never felt like he lived up to potential coming out of high school.
  3. If I could transport Foreman into an era where we had an o-line and a good OC, it would be the second thing I’d change in this century of Texas football. First thing would be Colt going down in the NC game against Bama.
  4. Prayers to his fam and sorry for your loss, Blake, he sounds like a good Longhorn and a better man. God Bless.
  5. Cory for me. Not too many lists Killebrew would come in 2nd for me, but Cory was one of the best I've ever seen on the 40.
  6. It's gotta be Leaks. Ossai was a beast, but the fact that Leaks' is in the CF HoF is really the bar set. If I'm being honest, Malik never really lived up to the hype the way I thought he would, but I also think he was on an average team with an average coach. In a different scenario, he may have met his potential (or at least my perception of it).
  7. vs IMG Academy. That would be worth watching.
  8. If DJ hadn't accumulated so many false starts, he'd be my guy for this one. Cosmi was a shining light in a dark period. I'll give him the check mark here.
  9. As we're ahead a day here in Brisbane, this will be on my birthday. This would be a nice way to kick it off!
  10. So your theory is because there aren't more stories being written about a freshman LB in the offseason, he must not be the stud you thought he was going to be?! You're dangerously close to being told to take a lap.
  11. One must first have academics for to 'drop' said academics. 😆
  12. I mentioned it in the other thread, but I remember at the time thinking, are we seriously taking O-Line transfers from RICE?!?! CA proved me wrong on assuming he wouldn't have the size to make an impact. A brilliant football player who understood his position so well! Glad we get to call him a Longhorn!
  13. That's crazy. We need some dawgs with bad intentions to don the mid-60s!
  14. Wasn't Calvin the transfer in from Rice? I remember thinking, oh boy, we're taking guys from Rice?! And then I happily ate my words. What a great young man and football player! I remember watching Dawson when I was young, tough dude. That said, based on accomplishments, Harley really does set the standard for #66 IMHO. HookEm!
  15. Arch is quite the physical specimen. Genetics matter.
  16. Yep, need to clean up the strikeouts, but I'm very excited about getting veteran leadership back on the team. Don't underestimate how important it is to have guys on the roster who 'have been there'. This is a good thing! Welcome back, Casey!
  17. Is it possible this is a telling clue for Cain's replacement? In Blake's update he mentioned the coach from Oregon also works with the catchers (I think that's who it was). Wondering if Armstrong may have been given some advice on who would be working with him.
  18. Does the MLB retain single-A ball? Pathway for kids who don't go to college to make it into MLB?
  19. Hmmm... do we know if there were any Soresby cards done in a TTU uni? Might be worth betting on for rarity at some stage....
  20. There’s 21 minutes they can’t get back.
  21. WTF is the obsession with frickin sour power?!! Wish they had fallen in love with Beaver Nuggets. Bet they wouldn't keep harping on it.
