  1. All-time has to be Street. Current has to be Taaffe. By the end of next year, Arch.
  2. I will not accept any scenario where a loss to lil' bro is conceded.
  3. OOF! Elko getting bass-slapped by Sark is the story of the off-season!
  4. If I'm Sark, I'm posting this shizz on the bulletin board straight away. Nice of Grimes to give us the motivating material. Show this to Arch & Simmons every morning until gameday.
  5. JT made 80k+ aggies cry all at once. Forever a legend! The Kick
  6. Isiah Robertson's sternum is still broken... https://youtube.com/shorts/gIpWQh8CJbM?si=p_kAzTpxzJ0NMi4O
  7. Gave what I could. God Bless SK and his fam. Longhorns for Life!
  8. EC's contact balance was off the charts. Bijan is the only one I've seen that could match it... BUT, Earl also had the power when he ran. Ricky's power + Bijan's contact balance = Earl Campbell. The best to ever do it, imho.
  9. So many good guys have come through, but for me it's gotta be J-Whit. Absolutely selfless, stayed and provided leadership, and i will never forget his block and then standing over the player flexing. When a guy like that shows you the raw emotion and takes pride in the things not everyone wants to do, that impacts the whole team. He was a key figure in rebuilding our culture.
  10. Love these reports, thank you QM Jr!
  11. Thanks MB! We plan on trying to get there as early as possible and just make a complete day of it. To say I'm excited about it would be like saying Bijan was an ok RB.
  12. Thanks to all for the advice, it's very much appreciated. One question for those who have been to the game, I found tickets in the corner of the endzone on row 2, Texas side, but I'm worried if they're that low we won't be able to see a lot of the game. Is that the case, or should I jump on them? Happy to wait, but if they're good, I might go for them. Does anyone know if Vivid Seats is ok to use?
  13. Thank you. Most of the feedback I'm getting is to wait until about the second week of September and hit StubHub, so I'll give that a whirl. Someone else suggested VetTix, so i'll give that a go as well.
  14. I'm very excited to say I'm bringing my eldest daughter all the way from Brisbane, Australia, to the Red River Shootout this year. It's my first time attending the RRS and my daughter's first Texas game. Only one hitch in my giddyup: I don't have tickets. If anyone has a contact or has some advice on tickets, it would be greatly appreciated. I was just about to pull the trigger on two tickets from Vivid Seats, but saw some horror story reviews on tickets going to the wrong people, etc. I can't afford to come all that way and get duped at the last hour. We have a reasonable budget, but we're not looking for 50yd line (unless someone is feeling very generous). We just want to be in the building to experience the game. Any / all help appreciated! Also, I don't normally play this card, but I'm a US Air Force vet, so if that helps with acquiring tickets in any way, I'm not above saying thank you.
  15. CJ, what's their o-line looking like? It doesn't look like they have anyone with any significant experience in the competition. If that o-line isn't stout, there could be a lot of panicky throws coming out of that backfield.
  16. The defense is absolutely stacked. We're finally out of rebuild mode and into reload mode, and we have some damn good ammo.
  17. This one is circled on my schedule as a tough out. If we get past OSU, we will have some serious momentum going into the Swamp, but my fear is that we're looking ahead to 0u and we beat the snot out of them last year. Best case scenario, Florida comes in undefeated and we take the game as seriously as possible. If Lagway is healthy, they will be legit. Florida has Miami the week before us and Lil Bro the week after, so I doubt they'll be looking ahead, but Miami could be a trap game for them. Hoping we're both undefeated when we meet and we remain so after the game.
  18. It saddens me that Foreman's talent was wasted on a team with weak leadership and average / below-average talent around him. His use was tantamount to abuse in some games, but he never complained. Doak Walker winning, 2k season, selfless. I still believe his NFL career was damaged based on how many times he was run at Texas. Priest was the man, but Foreman gets my vote. He deserves much more.
  19. If he does throw for 4k+ and we make the semis (at a minimum) again, is he the Heisman winner?
  20. Big Henry for me. Dude was a TRUCK! Ricky is always 34 to me for Texas.
  21. Welcome to the board, you won't regret the move.
