  1. I miss Dicker (3 words I never thought I'd say)
  2. These are all subjective, obviously, but man, it's really easy to make the case for QE for his career at Texas. B2B Semi-Finals Conference Championship, played for another (first-ever Texas QB to lead his team to B2B conference title games.) 3rd at Texas all-time in passing yds 3rd at Texas all-time in passing TDs 4th at Texas all-time in wins (27-9 in 3 years as a starter) 2-1 vs 0u, 1-0 vs 8&4. Everyone on the list is worthy of being there (loves me some Jordan Hicks!), but QE, in 3 years, took us from slightly above average to winning conference championships and playing for natties. Respect...
  3. Man, we are spoiled for choice at #4. I saw Roy and thought, why even continue... then Kenny!... Phil is the greatest kicker of all time... Limas did Limas things at the most Limas times! When Makuba isn't the standout, you know you're playing with the big boys. Give me Roy for the win.
  4. It's gotta be Bijan. What an incredible player and even better man. Couldn't think of a better ambassador for our school.
  5. ANyone else experiencing PTSD after seeing the Big12 refs?
  6. All-time has to be Street. Current has to be Taaffe. By the end of next year, Arch.
  7. I will not accept any scenario where a loss to lil' bro is conceded.
  8. OOF! Elko getting bass-slapped by Sark is the story of the off-season!
  9. If I'm Sark, I'm posting this shizz on the bulletin board straight away. Nice of Grimes to give us the motivating material. Show this to Arch & Simmons every morning until gameday.
  10. JT made 80k+ aggies cry all at once. Forever a legend! The Kick
  11. Isiah Robertson's sternum is still broken... https://youtube.com/shorts/gIpWQh8CJbM?si=p_kAzTpxzJ0NMi4O
  12. Gave what I could. God Bless SK and his fam. Longhorns for Life!
  13. EC's contact balance was off the charts. Bijan is the only one I've seen that could match it... BUT, Earl also had the power when he ran. Ricky's power + Bijan's contact balance = Earl Campbell. The best to ever do it, imho.
  14. So many good guys have come through, but for me it's gotta be J-Whit. Absolutely selfless, stayed and provided leadership, and i will never forget his block and then standing over the player flexing. When a guy like that shows you the raw emotion and takes pride in the things not everyone wants to do, that impacts the whole team. He was a key figure in rebuilding our culture.
  15. Love these reports, thank you QM Jr!
  16. Thanks MB! We plan on trying to get there as early as possible and just make a complete day of it. To say I'm excited about it would be like saying Bijan was an ok RB.
  17. Thanks to all for the advice, it's very much appreciated. One question for those who have been to the game, I found tickets in the corner of the endzone on row 2, Texas side, but I'm worried if they're that low we won't be able to see a lot of the game. Is that the case, or should I jump on them? Happy to wait, but if they're good, I might go for them. Does anyone know if Vivid Seats is ok to use?
  18. Thank you. Most of the feedback I'm getting is to wait until about the second week of September and hit StubHub, so I'll give that a whirl. Someone else suggested VetTix, so i'll give that a go as well.
  19. I'm very excited to say I'm bringing my eldest daughter all the way from Brisbane, Australia, to the Red River Shootout this year. It's my first time attending the RRS and my daughter's first Texas game. Only one hitch in my giddyup: I don't have tickets. If anyone has a contact or has some advice on tickets, it would be greatly appreciated. I was just about to pull the trigger on two tickets from Vivid Seats, but saw some horror story reviews on tickets going to the wrong people, etc. I can't afford to come all that way and get duped at the last hour. We have a reasonable budget, but we're not looking for 50yd line (unless someone is feeling very generous). We just want to be in the building to experience the game. Any / all help appreciated! Also, I don't normally play this card, but I'm a US Air Force vet, so if that helps with acquiring tickets in any way, I'm not above saying thank you.
  20. CJ, what's their o-line looking like? It doesn't look like they have anyone with any significant experience in the competition. If that o-line isn't stout, there could be a lot of panicky throws coming out of that backfield.
  21. The defense is absolutely stacked. We're finally out of rebuild mode and into reload mode, and we have some damn good ammo.
  22. This one is circled on my schedule as a tough out. If we get past OSU, we will have some serious momentum going into the Swamp, but my fear is that we're looking ahead to 0u and we beat the snot out of them last year. Best case scenario, Florida comes in undefeated and we take the game as seriously as possible. If Lagway is healthy, they will be legit. Florida has Miami the week before us and Lil Bro the week after, so I doubt they'll be looking ahead, but Miami could be a trap game for them. Hoping we're both undefeated when we meet and we remain so after the game.
