    Just stating the facts of the rules as they have been stated. 1) The rule only applies to trans in the SEC 2) Neither Texas nor Oklahoma is in the SEC until July 1. No one can cite how the internal SEC rule applies to teams outside the conference.

    Regardless of what anyone says, Texas and Oklahoma are in the B12 until July 1. Is baseball playing in the SEC? No! Dud golf and tennis just win the SEC championships No! They won the B12 Championships. Reality is rather unforgiving regardless of anyone's "beliefs."

    The rule is actually only enforceable for teams in the SEC. Texas and Oklahoma are in the B12 until July 1. Hence my search for a definitive citation.

    There is this little technicality is that neither Texas nor Oklahoma is in the SEC until July 1st. I've seen no separate agreement that says that incoming schools are bound by this. If someone does transfer before then either way, I would expect a legal challenge if the SEC tries to prevent that player from playing this fall.
