Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted August 4, 2024 Moderators Posted August 4, 2024 Just now, qaertyisthatdude said: It should be, but the NCAA already said they won't do it. Plus, the games were still played. Vacating wins doesn't change any of that. I mean, they will be able to say they were NC ... but I bet it's not looked at by the NCAA at NC long term. Maybe I'll be proven wrong 3 Quote
Jbro52 Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 (edited) Not a good look for Michigan but I wonder if anything even happens they only popped Harbaugh on the hand it’s seemed last year we shall see Edited August 4, 2024 by Jbro52 Quote

I keep waiting for the report of massive violations of practice time restrictions and impermissible in-person coaching to drop, but haven’t seen anything yet. And Harbaugh walks away as an unscathed hero. Quote
Texas fan in Georgia Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 If they vacated wins from usc (I get the circumstances are different) they’ll vacate Michigans. Question is how many. Of those 58 times what was their record ? This can affect their ranking in overall wins as well Quote
Texas fan in Georgia Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 If Texas goes to Ann Arbor and wins by 30 boy oh boy will things look even worse 1 Quote

justwinbaby Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 I’ll believe the NCAA will do nothing about it, they’re slower than Mr. Magoo. Quote
horns96 Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Also of note (from the original link)- Netflix is doing a documentary about the scandal. Quote
snugsie Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 When's the last time a team got the death penalty? Lol Quote
FatherofMinky Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 I don’t think they should’ve been allowed in the playoff last year honestly Quote

David Edwards Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Harbaugh should be banned from the NCAA... However, we can thank him for ushering in the age of the Harbaugh helmuts ... I see nothing, I hear nothing, I know nothing... I am a wolverine. Quote
Hashtag Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 You knew it was going to be bad when more came out considering Harbough wanted immunity built into his contract with Michigan. 1 Quote
harveycmd Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 What seems most significant here is that there is no way Michigan can reasonably claim it was only Stalions and maybe a couple of GAs. Clearly most, if not all, of the staff was in on this. If the NCAA doesn't vacate a number of their wins, it's a joke. Quote

Vacating wins doesn't change any of that. Oh, I do not know. When the NCAA forced USC to rescind their victories over the Reggie Bush scandal, USC said they did not lose the 2006 Rise Bowl-because the game was vacated. Quote
