  1. To maintain this effort Weaver has to be on the floor. How many minutes can he play?
  2. Heide showing much more tonight as well.
  3. He looked like a different player on offense and defense. Matas can now be pulled every time he commits a stupid foul until he gets it.
  4. Dont call double dribble against the home team?
  5. Weaver, Mark, Heide, Wilcher, Traore: Weaver his usual outstanding defense and flying, Mark the Dr, Jekyll side showed up, Wilcher defending, Traore having his first really good game, Heide bouncing - Miller may have gotten through to them.
  6. Meanwhile , Texas is playing hard and well especially on defense. Miller got through to them? Despite Texas' lead, I think 'Bama's talent from three will win out. But I like what I am seeing, especially from Weaver as usual, and Traore, for the first time in a contested game. Should add that the good Mark has shown up.
  7. Indiana is in a different zip code for maturity and precision from everyone else in college football. I think they would win a couple of games in an NFL season they way they have played the last two games.
  8. BON reports that Texas has the biggest NIL budget. https://www.burntorangenation.com/general/99686/longhorns-daily-news-texas-has-highest-nil-transfer-portal-budget-data-says

  10. Austin, TX. UTLS. Wife is CPA - McCombs. One daughter is UT Chem and Pharmacy, another is UT BA Advertising and MSW. Twin granddaughters aspire to Cockrell and McCombs as HS juniors. We encourage them in those aspirations.
  11. If Texas wants Derek to return I assume the staff thinks he has healed. He still showed signs of being slowed by his injury this season. The talent he flashed as a freshman was evident, of course.
  12. Tony Hill and Gerry thought the team that made fewer mistakes would win. In a mistake ridden game Texas made fewer mistakes.
  13. Have you watched Michigan play this season? What stands out?
  14. Guessing that a guy who makes his rep on outside runs, cutbacks, good hands, and pass pro is a better fit in the B12 than in the SEC or B1G.
  15. Pause, and have a great day with your family and friends.
  16. Lacy is not a power back. Lacy may be about Wisner's size. Do any of you have a take on him as a pass blocker? Against teams with a pulse he averaged 3 YPC. I think NOT.
  17. CJV wrote: it sounds like the full starting lineup remains at practice and plans to participate in some degree in the bowl game on December 31. Did you mean the offensive starters? Or are Hill and Burke practicing, as well?
  18. Saina piques my curiosity. I have never seen him play. Have any of you?
  19. The Bowl game is an exhibition that allows for multiple weeks of practice for the returning players, some of whom have not played significant minutes. It does not matter if Texas wins, although we would prefer that outcome. It only matters that returning offensive linemen who haven't played get to work out together for two or three weeks. Win or lose, seeing the "new": interior linemen, say Kibble, Cruz, and Brooks, working smartly together as a unit would be worth it to our team. Seeing them screw up again and again would be a lesson, as well. We get to watch and learn.
