  1. This is interesting in that I believe I only see 6 SEC schools among the schools ranked & receiving votes. Women's soccer is a lot more ACC & rando schools around the country focused than most other D1 sports. In a 5/5 and NIL environment - schools like Texas should be able to excel by finding kids that overachieve as FR/SO around the country, and then want to make some $ and get a more recognizable degree. Good luck to Coach Bates & the ladies! Let's hope Texas Soccer finally gets to where it should have been since Day 1 !
  2. Ok guys, everything in the original listing is gone except for the Dunks! Really appreciate it to the guys who bought and of course the OTF guys for allowing me to clean some stuff out of the closet. Hook Em! @Blake Munroe @Bobby Burton
  3. let's do it. Typically $12-15 depending on your zip. DM me your address & I'll give you a total. Thanks!
  4. Size 11s are on hold for @Chase Bennett Size 12 flywire v6 are on their way to @PaulieD Still do have the other 2 size 12s available - the dunks as well as the black/orange Nike Train Speed 4s. Thanks!
  5. Those are the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 V6 amp. 723939-800. Never worn. $110 MSRP. They're from 2015 - have just been sitting in my collection since then. Texas does custom colorways w/ logos for the big schools with their amp shoes - so there are Ohio State, Oregon, etc versions floating around out there, too. These are Charlie Strong era - maybe you've blocked it out of your mind 🙂 I'd do like $50 + ship if you're interested on those.
  6. asked if this was ok the other day and Blake said go for it. Bobby reminded the community that while this type of post is allowed, caveat empour and all that. i have way too many shoes including Nike x Texas shoes. For those of you getting up there in age - get rid of your stuff so your kids don’t have to do it for you someday. We downsized houses last year and this is my 2nd full time job now lol. 2 pairs of size 11.0: (first pic) new, no box Nike Free Trainer 5.0 V6 amp. 723939-800. Never worn. $110 MSRP used, no box Nike Free Trainer 5.0 TB 644676-810. Lightly worn - more than anything, stored in a box poorly and the upper collar is a bit deformed. Also some light staining on the white collar. Soles slightly dirty but don’t show wear. 3 pairs of men’s 12.0 (second pic) new in box Nike Free Trainer 5.0 V6 amp. 723939-800. Never worn. $110 MSRP new no box Nike Train speed 4 amp Texas. 844102-800. Never worn. New in box Nike Dunk lo retro se monarch / brown flax. HJ9121-815. Never worn. I’m in Western North Carolina - will ship from zip 28739. Taking any reasonable offer - none of these are worth anything special to a shoe guy but would like to see them find a home where they’ll be worn or loved. more pics here: https://imgur.com/gallery/texas-longhorns-sneakers-sale-0nwpyrY
  7. Mods - is there any way we can have a Marketplace thread or board? I've seen some other posters ask for a place to buy/sell tickets. I have several pairs of size 12 Nike / Texas sneakers that I'd like to clear out, too and this would be the perfect place but obviously want to be respectful to your forum. Thanks.
  8. Haiti’s fans are hyppppppppppedddddddd
  9. if anyone is trying to follow T&F, this seems to be the simplest view of team results: Dynamic Team Scores
  10. best college named after a rural town in southern Alabama, for sure
  11. Looks like both Texas & Stanford M Golf will go out in the first day of match play.
  12. this is kind of brutal. Maas & Bennett were out in front almost the entire round and lost it late.
  13. currently very tight - we're up 2-0, but trailing by a stroke in 1 pairing and the other 2 are tied.
  14. Need a pair of the Nikes Ricky is wearing
  15. I posted the updated scholarship caps per sport above. Thanks to crew roster capacity more than tripling, as well as soccer & softball doubling -- Texas actually has more scholarship slots for female than male athletes. Whether they choose to fill all of those is a different story - but the increases in baseball & football are potentially offset by crew, soccer & softball.

  17. I really don't get it. It seems like we focus on the sprint events regardless. The Indoor Championships were last week. Texas finished: Mens: 12 points, 24th place. Outscored by NAU (7th), Villanova (14th), New Mexico (19th) Womens: 8 points, tied for 28th place. Outscored by New Mexico (10th), South Dakota (15th), Tarleton State (23rd), Princeton (27) I realize that some of these athletes are at specific schools because of the coach that is in place for their event - but some of these kids were just underrecruited, too. Not sure why Texas can't just NIL top performing kids from small schools to earn some extra points considering that T&F field events have a way disproportionate value because of the multiple championships. Below is a list of frosh/sophomore student athletes from smaller schools that it seems like we could recruit to join our teams in non-sprint events. I'm just a fat guy with a spreadsheet, this can't be that complicated lol Tshephang DANKURU FR Texas State (6th mens high jump) Ricardo MONTES DE OCA SO High Point (7th mens pole vault) Anna WILLIS SO South Dakota (3rd womens pole vault) Prestina OCHONOGOR SO Tarleton State (5th womens long jump) Jessica OJI FR Penn (7th womens shot) Kenneth BYRD SO Louisville (2nd mens Hept) Allie ZEALAND SO Liberty (5th womens 3000M) Pamela KOSGEI SO New Mexico (3rd womens 5000M) Edna CHELULEI SO Eastern Kentucky (6th womens 5000M) Victoria CAMERON SO Tarleton State (3rd womens 60M) Bradley FRANKLIN SO Samford (2nd mens 60M hurdles) Matthew ENDRODY SO New Mexico (6th mens 1 mile)
  18. I would not only sell this kid a beer - I'd ask him how old HIS kids are
  19. I'm ok with the bears. We back up to a 1000+ acre summer camp. The bears know I have dogs and try to steer clear. I'm more spooked by some of the coyotes I've picked up on my trail camera. People tell me they're coyotes but I swear they're hellhounds, man. Like WTF is that thing stalking around every night?
  20. I was in Nashville for 20+ years, but have been in WNC for about 18 months now. First in a rental in Canton, now on a mountaintop between Hendersonville and Pisgah Forest. We love the area! The vistas, hiking, etc in this area are amazing. Not sweating non-stop in the summers -- lifetime achievement unlocked. I'm just east of Pisgah National as well as Dupont State Forests. I can see Mt Pisgah through the trees in the winter. I can't speak to the eastern 3/4 of the state, but the mountains of WNC are glorious. Maybe not Colorado glorious, but we also don't deal with snow for 3 months!
  21. My mom's family is from the area - New Lexington/Crooksville. My grandfather was a cast maker at Roseville Pottery. Please do me a favor & have a black & white sundae from Tom's Ice Cream Bowl for me. Also wouldn't mind some nuts & chocolates, I'm just sayin
  22. I ate at the Beacon in Spartanburg for the first time last month. Will not be the last. Old guy taking orders was amazing - how does someone remember all of that?
  23. Graeter's Ice Cream in Lexington, Jeff. You're welcome.
