  1. Seems a little hesitant. I will settle for defense all game long. He has games where he disappears. Coach Miller has been able to get him playing defense the entire game.
  2. Well, I hope they decide to give effort in the second half.
  3. Never fails. Pope missed the front end of a one and one. Kentucky hits a three.
  4. All started when Sark kept Flood.
  5. Got to love that effort to get back.
  6. Traore and Matas were on the floor together for about a minute.
  7. True but Traore looked like his feet were cemented to the floor.
  8. On the last one Traore was standing straight up. Didn’t see a foul.
  9. I thought they benched him.
  10. Some coaches are ahead of the curve. Despite all that is happening in college sports with NIL, Portal, strength of schedule, buying teams, stacking talent, this guy figured it out. This is why I don’t like “ well in this sport it takes three years of four years”. This guy did it in two years! Stop telling us it takes more time. And it’s not like they had a horrible season last year. This is no fluke. They were good last year. Please stop with the it takes time to build, well this is a different school…hear way too much of that in football and basketball.
  11. Their coach can. Can Sark? I am not use to seeing all these fourth down calls that work.
  12. Alabama does but not as much as they used to spend. However they have a great coach, winning program and rabid fan base. Kentucky probably has the highest NIL in the country. Definitely don’t expect Texas to get close to them. Arkansas spends more as well. Would prefer Texas keep up with everyone but Kentucky. A&M probably spends less and they still won.
  13. I never got off the bus. We have had three mediocre coaches in a row. The two at other schools are struggling and the other is commentating and working for an NBA team. It’s the “resources” that have always concerned me. Keep waiting for them to actually give the coach a fair chance to compete in the SEC.
  14. Losing tends to make you adjust. I believe he will adjust. If he doesn’t then yes it won’t last long. Time will tell.
  15. Are we talking about the SEC schedule? Texas plays a weak non conference schedule every year. I will take your word for A&M schedule being weaker in the non conference. In conference they have one loss. And they owned Texas the entire second half.
  16. I agree on his style of play. However, I think with time he will move away from that style. I think he’s going to be an excellent coach there. I think Coach Miller is a very good coach. In his own words his players again, came out in the second half with no effort. There is a packed house, the game is tied, and you have guys having to be separated from each other. So with all that going on they come out soft. That’s on the players and him. Forget the talent right now. Don’t recruit or retain guys that do that. All that does is poison the locker room. Texas does not have a number one option. They have a few second options.
  17. Not even close. Did you watch how close some of Texas games were early in the year? He called his players out after two games against nobodies. A&M only lose was in overtime against Tennessee. That’s the team that blew Texas out.
  18. That actually a nod to RT. You don’t need height to rebound. Unfortunately his teams didn’t rebound well either.
  19. How do you come to a packed house playing your rival and not have effort?
  20. This is the part I love about Miller. He’s not afraid to call himself out. I give him a pass because he’s not making Heide give up four point plays that completely change the game or scoring points for the other team, but he did sign him.
  21. A&M has a brand new coach too and they have one loss.
  22. Effort again? It’s the Aggies that has effort built in.
