    It’s always been a talent rich state. Right now it’s the DFW area. A coach who could lock down the state could win a lot here. Getting players in the portal with Texas ties would greatly help too.

    Texas will never be a blueblood basketball school. They are capable of being Alabama though. You can be good in both sports at the same time.
