    Cunningham and Asbrink the only 5s that are slated to be on the roster next season. Curious if Vic ends up adding another true big in the portal or if he decides to roll with Carlton and Etute as emergency small ball options.

    Making the 3 hour each way trip after work tomorrow to Austin. No way I could miss seeing Mulkey’s garb in person! Fully expecting the best environment for a UT basketball game I’ve ever been to, men’s games included. Can’t wait!

    Was worried Tre Johnson was going to be stuck in basketball purgatory in Washington but they have a very intriguing team if they can somehow all get healthy. Trae Young, Tre Johnson, Kyshawn George, Anthony Davis, and Alex Sarr is a lot of buckets for a starting 5.

    Potential depth chart next season: Preston, Spaight, Prenter Lee, Bjorn, Holguin Booker, Crittendon Crump, Carlton, Etute Cunningham, Asbrink-Hose Would assume Vic will try to add one more big in the portal to compete with Asbrink-Hose for those backup minutes/develop since Cunningham will be a senior

    If you would’ve told me when we moved here in 2002 that we would have a Walmart AND a Kroger with an HEB on the way, it would’ve been as unbelievable as you telling me that Jeremiah Smith is portalling to Texas. That downtown Brookshire Bros is still going strong though.

    So if my math is right C- portal 1B- Livingston 2B- Mendoza SS- Rodriguez 3B- Borba LF- Williams CF- Robbins RF- Moroknek DH- Freeman Sounds like we’re still trying to get a SS though so assuming Rodriguez won’t end up there and still some shuffling around to be had. Gasparino I’m assuming is still a TBD on if he’ll be back next season with these new outfielders coming in.

    Running back always a dime a dozen in the portal and can easily backfill with a local high school low 4 star/3 star to fill a spot worst case scenario. Staff already has 2 DTs from the Southeast and looking good for a 3rd to commit this week. Biggest problem in recruiting for a decade plus has been the trenches and choosing to look at the bright side that it appears we’ve finally fixed our glaring weakness.
