  1. I agree with you. Pretty much no Longhorn cares about someone doing a horns down. I think if Texas turns it around like some have suggested into a secondary gesture (mess with the bull, you get the horns pointed down) then it'll be a forgotten thing. Something like horns up to start the games, horns down on attack mode, horns back up to finish the game.
  2. You're probably right, in today's world the portal is practically free agency like the NFL. Rosters can be completely overhauled in a season or two. It's hard to keep recruited talent if they aren't seeing the field quickly. It's one of the qualities that made Brooks special, he could have entered the portal but waited his turn and is now one of, if not the top RB in the draft.
  3. Question for me is - does Sark start the games with the "explosive" grouping to try to score fast and early and then pound out the time of possession after that, or does he start more "generic" and march down the field trying to wear out the defense first. I'm thinking the former.
  4. That's the shady part right there, Harbaugh wanting immunity basically screams guilt to me.
  5. I don't pretend to have any information, but my understanding is that Sark likes to keep a fairly close balance to keep the defense guessing.
  6. Wouldn't that strategy only be able to protect Michigan's roster for 1 semester? As I think the players could portal after Spring as well. It could allow the next coach to build relationships to try to mitigate the impact so still could be effective.
  7. Since Harbaugh was able to win a championship, would the Michigan faithful be ok if he leaves them gutted by leaving and taking most of the staff, or would they be happy about the championship?
  8. This logic makes a lot of sense. Only possible reason that he would ride the bench is if NIL can fill that void of playing time.
