  1. Something the Texas offense doesn’t have with Quinn unfortunately. A running QB is such a game changer in today’s game.
  2. I believe you are correct.
  3. It’s amazing how far they’ve fallen since getting smoked by Texas in the big 12 championship last year.
  4. Tre Wisner isn't too bad as the other back in pony package.
  5. Reed is a faster Pavia
  6. There are some players, that if they want to go to your school, the school will make room for. He's one of those imo.
  7. Yes but not as Texas. Their world revolves around beating Texas. It’s their superbowl.
  8. Sark has never played against ATM. I hope he understands that they're like Arkansas to the nth degree where they hate Texas more than they like themselves and has the team prepared accordingly. Texas should win this game, but if they don't bring the intensity it could go the wrong way with how loud that stadium is going to be at night. It'll likely be shaking when they do that weird sway thing. One only need to take a peek at their message board and see that they are just as many threads about Texas (and probably even more) than they do about their own team.
  9. Seems to be, it's also on the Texas One page. I ordered it and will see.
  10. Did anyone else look into the NIL fanbox that just released ordering this morning? It's endorsed by the Texas Athletics and Texas One Fund, but seems to be a third party. I'm not well versed in collectibles so wanted to get some insight and opinions as I contemplate whether to join the subscription or not.
  11. Well bama has really weak auburn and ou, Georgia has some fcs and Georgia tech. Barring a major collapse they will both finish 10-2. Bama is in the sec cg. If Texas loses to atm, Georgia has the tie breaker over Texas. Texas would lose the tiebreaker to atm when the committee looks to pick the remainders. Because the rest of Texas’ schedule has turned out to be frauds, the strength of schedule hurts. Texas needs to win out, but the plus thing is that they control their own destiny.
  12. It’s possible that Texas wins the Sec, Colorado wins the big 12, Oregon wins the big 10, and SMU wins the ACC. This would make all the conference champions the newest members in their first year. No significance, just made me laugh.
  13. Very gutty performance from the team and this is after they lost probably their best player in Trinity Byars early in the season.
  14. I feel like the core part of the problem is terrible passing. They can’t control the ball in serve receive (especially Madi). Texas has been spoiled with great back rows having two high level transfers the past two seasons. This year there was no high level third defensive specialist which forced them to have 1 hitter to play the back row and that’s who atm and Missouri attacked on the serve.
  15. If the scenario occurred where: Texas wins out but ATM plays Georgia in the sec champ game and loses. Texas gets the 5 seed since they beat atm would didn’t win the conference. Texas goes on to get a bye and win the championship. ATM would beat their chests about being in the sec champ game but would they have heartache in playing a part in giving Texas the recovery and seeding that helped to win the overall championship? That would be hilarious. They’d still put it in their wall as runner up sec. That’s fine lol
  16. The odd thing is that when it comes to non-football things they are actually really good - veterinarian (they take care of Bevo), engineering, and even business. But they lose all common sense and logic when it comes to football.
  17. The announcers even said the DBs weren’t worried about anything getting thrown over them so they were sitting on short routes. let atm DBs do that and it’s gonna be pick city.
  18. Indiana has a more powerful offense than Texas rn
  19. He can make all the throws when there's no pressure. Problem is he is seeing pressure even when it's not there. When it's there, that's even worse.
  20. I’m in agreement with Nancy, Quinn hasn’t shown any growth. And the defense isn’t afraid of anything past 10 yards so they can stack the box on our RBs.
  21. This may be petty but I don’t care - I so enjoy stutsman coming back to ou only to lose a lot.
  22. My guess is he’s thinking he’s only playing 3 seasons total, no reason to redshirt. Better to put some film for potential suitors?
  23. He has his team with a chip on their shoulder, Texas on the other hand still seems to have a little sense of entitlement at times.
  24. If more and more players get frustrated, Quinn will lose the confidence of his teammates, and it’s all downhill from there because they’ll feel like they have to do more or just give up like the ou guys seem to have done.
  25. The problem is this year Quinn seems to have regressed instead of progress. Less downfield hits (rarely throws them but when he does it’s rarely even close). He checks down way too much and way too early. Sometimes you have to give your receivers a chance, especially when the line gives you time. He’s feeling phantom pressure, I liken it to David Carr when he was with the Texans. Eventually that clock in his head was way faster than it truly was.
