Arch is ready for his chance. I think he can understand better than most the expectations heaped on him because of his family’s experiences. The difference between Arch and Quinn is Arxh doesn’t have another “generational” talent sitting behind him waiting to come in and perform that the fans are frothing at the mouth to see. I really hope our defense is able to continue their growth and dominance into next season. Having that fierceness on the defensive side will allow the young buck and new o line to operate with less pressure to perform and play freely. If we can play complimentary football and the offense doesn’t disappear for quarters at a time we’ll be as tough as anyone in the country to beat!

That was the worst no call on holding since last season when B. Murph was put in a choke hold in the end zone and dk call made (against Will Howard’s K State team no less). Awful!

You got me fired UP!! Ready to run through that wall!! I want to see a focused, physical, angry, mean, aggressive, united, and driven group of young men come out Friday against the Buckeyes. Win or lose this is a class group that makes me proud to be a longhorns!! I just want them to focus and finish strong and end the year with a WIN!!!

Damn sad to hear this!! Love Jay, he was the dean at McCombs when I was there and love his passion and pride for the university of Texas when he was here. He has done some great work in the past 4 years and wish him well. I just hope we get another great president focused on moving the university forward together and understanding the important tie between athletics, academic success, and active engaged alumni!

Anyone else really hope Auburn gets a chance to hit the game winner and freaking rips that $hit right down the middle from like 52?! I hate that he’s had such a rough patch and know he’s feeling it. Seems like such a good hard working kid and it just sucks to watch him go through this slump!

I hate it too. But hey I hope I’m wrong! Either way, as much as losing would really suck, this has been a fantastic fun season with one of the grittiest, classiest, and most exciting players I can remember as a lifelong Texas fan! I love our team and our culture. Just look at all the weird crazy injuries, penalties, mid season WR exit, doubters, haters that we’ve battled through to be where we are! Hell the RB injury alone would’ve derailed most teams before the season even started. Instead we grew and improved and STILL had a 1,000 rusher. I hope for the defense’s sake we’re able to play complimentary football and win this damn thing, but at this point we haven’t done that, so with this being our toughest test I think we just come up short. Again, I WANT TO BE SO WRONG! I want our guys to show up and show out. I want to avenge the lackluster performances we had against UGA by beating the only team with more talent on both sides of the ball than them. Hook’em horns forever 🤘🐂🤘

Ohio State is too hot right now, and we’re trending downward offensively and defensively. Hope I’m wrong and the ASU debacle woke us up, but I think all our bad habits exposed and we get beat like Tennessee and Oregon 😢🤬😡 Bad Guys 45 Good Guys 17 its hard to post this but I have to be true to what the film shows…It should be interesting set up for a big fame either way game with Arch at the helm in 9 months in that awful place up north.

Exactly!! He would’ve done much better with a head coach that actually wanted him and wanted to build a team with and around him. Chris Johnson has maintained that he was a big reason why he was able to have that 2k yard season. Randy Moss wanted to play with him. The way that org and Fisher responded to him after Steve McNair’s tragic murder was criminal and derailed his career IMO. I’ll never forgive Fisher for the way he treated him.

That was a bad play call even more than a bad throw. Quinn was the leader and playmaker we needed him to be today. We won because of his play offensively.
