  1. Now attacking a player because he has some bad games is another story, but has nothing to do with the seriousness of racism. He needs to play better if he wants to start at Texas. The O line didn’t block horribly on a lot of those plays. Quinn was not stepping up in the pocket and not releasing the ball fast enough. The NFL rushes like that all the time with excellent OL (all pro) holding off the rush for a “time”. Now I haven’t rewatched, but one play in particular by the our goal line, Kelvin Banks had an amazing battle with their top edge (forgot name) then at the end Quinn with lack of movement fell when the DL went to the ground and got his feet. Number one, Quinn should have released the ball by then. Number two, he should have been aware of the rush and stepped up by then. I am rooting for Quinn, these are kids who are hoping for a future, so I’m not attacking them I agree, but stating the objective facts is another story. Hope he gets to it and gets better next week.
  2. It’s not a personal comment. He literally used to have and chose to have a mullet. That time when he chose to wear his hair a particular way coincided with his play as a new QB, and for the last 2 games (at least he) has seemed to regress back to that type of play.
  3. You’re right, it is subjective. A game is just an easy way to put it. However, more specifically I think yes what you said about good tackling and coverage with the fundamentals in place, and more particular to this game good quarterback play. Both QBs have had subpar performances and both can play “A” games . So probably should have said the team that plays fundamentally better, has better QB play, and WINS the turnover matgin will win. It’s still even more complicated than that with coordination on both sides of the ball and gameplan, but I digress.
  4. He’s right. They aren’t underdogs to anyone. Whoever plays A game will win. They are full of 5 stars from multiple classes. They have stacked classes like us.
  5. Nvm, coaches agree with me. Lefau already getting more snaps than Gbenda according to CJ Vogel. Both are good. Lefau has 2 sacks though. I wish both players the best. Competition good.
  6. I guess more than Gbenda next week. When Gbenda makes some more splash plays and is more efficient, then he can grab it back. Still getting reps and rotating, but increase the snaps of the players that are making splash plays. That is how a meritocracy works. Take out the name and and the seniority play the player who is making the most plays. Not saying Gbenda not playing well, but every time players like Lefau and some others get in they make splash plays. Get them in more.
  7. Better play him more. Meritocracy
  8. They could have let his contract expire. Lose next year, and get Arch.
  9. Fresno State 💡. I get it now. That was confusing me also
  10. Norvell not tough enough to live in Texas. Have to have thick skin.
  11. 🙋‍♂️ I know, I know, somebody up north sucks ?
  12. They just suck! That’s it
  13. I have an advanced stat. General Booty vs. Texas: Oklahoma and ULM Texas- 102 Booty- 3
  14. Cam, with his newly reshaped body just looks more like a Tyron Smith type to me. And he doesn’t have nearly as many starts of course compared with Banks. His upside and potential was dependent first on him reshaping, the rest is very intriguing because he was fast (in his high school tape) when he wasn’t in good shape.
  15. Longwire with a story titled “Does Texas have an Arch problem?” 😂 I wanted to comment simply, “no!”. However, not a member of that.
  16. Top 10% donors kids get in. JK, maybe
  17. LSU NIL money being funneled to the refs.
  18. Get well soon. Hook em
  19. Cam Williams physically looks like a NFL tackle now. He’s huge! Also, my som was sitting with a big Michigan donor at the game and DJ Campbell walked by during warm ups and he said, “oh no!”.
  20. Right, but I have PTSD from QBs in the past having careers games against us.(Taysom Hill is still running through our secondary as I type) All those coaches knew more than me also. I hope we are prepared. I just know taking the pitch back and not attacking the football is hard discipline for an aggressive and fast D.
  21. I think you are right as well. They will try to confuse with switching QBs maybe, and want us to have more prep time wasted for both. Cautiously optimistic, caution is because it takes a lot to be disciplined against option football. Kids don’t rep against it like they used to (my day). But if they play assignment football we have the speed to track down and assault the ball carriers. Anthony Hill had some beast plays upon rewatch, Gbenda too. QB run can be deadly though. Man! I’m back and forth. Need more coolaid.
  22. And not even worried at this point. Barring injuries, this is going to be one of the best teams in quite while.
  23. I like that embarrass his dad’s school part though.
  24. Doesn’t matter. Not coming to college.
