    I think Texas of all the schools you list has the best job to jump up in status. Kind of crazy how UCONN was before 1999....and I look at them as something Texas should strive for in basketball. Your run always has to start somewhere and I think with Texas resources and this era once we get our first we could eventually rip off some titles over the course of the next decade or two. UCONN before 1st title: E8 - 1964, 1990, 1995, 1998 S16 - 1951, 1956, 1964, 1976, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995, 1996*, 1998, Texas FF - 1943, 1947, 2003 E8 - 1939, 1943, 1947, 1990, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2023 S16 - 1960, 1963, 1972, 1990, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2023 Kind of crazy how they look when you put perspective.

    The best part of some of these coaches who complain, especially Saban is how hypocritical he is in doing so. He had been paying players for decades but now that everyone else is and the price went up so he methods aren't as effective he complains.

    There isn't much you can do about it because college athletics rotates around the academic calendar and those enrollment dates. Legends have to retire so new legends can be born. It's a fact of sports. It's absolutely comical to see Texas fans complaining about NIL and portal when it has literally been a overwhelmingly net positive for us and our athletic program. Unless you prefer the days where teams were buying every player with bags and we were at a severe disadvantage.

    All due respect to him but he can move on. No way you can go into next season with what we have in roster at that position considering the games he cost us and almost cost us.

    I think for the GM role he should target a front office type guy instead of a recruiting type guy for the specific role.

    So how do you diminish the police in this situation have their evidence documented as well as photos from that night while you continue to parade the FBI recordings? Continue supporting a woman beating alcoholic.

    The only reason Beard doesn’t is because his fiancé refused to cooperate with authorities after the fact. Regardless of being prosecuted or not the affidavit cites that Beard threw her on the floor, bit her, choked her(restricted breathing), and etc. so he still beat a woman even if he wasn’t prosecuted. How can you Beard honks not get this through your heads? Also know that CDC and and the powers that be gave Beard options that could have kept him at Texas. He’s was to arrogant to take those options and instead lashed out like an immature child via his lawyers statements.

    TE I can agree with because it’s critical to the offense and the blocking required. Clemson seemed to do okay with two true freshmen last season at receiver.
