    Who said anything about him, or any person in his position, giving anyone $100k? I know I didn’t. I was just pointing out that one might consider tempering the praise a little, considering how little money that is to him, especially given the positive press that he, or more correctly, his publicist, obtained for this gesture. Obviously I’m glad the kids get their season but let’s breathe a little perspective into the gift.

    That “great thing” was pocket change to him. Whoever his publicist is should be commended for getting Baker some positive press for very, very little money to him.

    For someone who makes a reported $55MM/year, that’s the equivalent of $32.50 for a guy making $100k per year, plus I’m sure his accountant will figure out a way to write it off. Not bad for some positive press. He’s still a giant prick.

    Jerry is hard to beat but I always thought Alfred Jackson, who was at UT when I was, was pretty darn good, and certainly worth mention.
