    Former Longhorn baseball player Scott Soden has passed away. He played for the 'Horns from 1977-79 and at one time had the longest HR hit at Texas. I got to know him when he was the head baseball coach at San Antonio East Central.

    Short Yardage Offense: Is there any inclination that the staff will use a "Heavy" in the RB position in short yardage / goal line situations? Maybe Gullette at 6'3" 240 pounding up the middle...I loved how they used Murphy last year. Wildcat: If Sark elects to go "wildcat", who is the leading contender to be under center? I think Wisener would work, but was wondering what y'all think? Hook'em

    For Bobby and Gerry. Question: How does the overall team speed of this team compare to other Texas teams under Sark? I know there is no Worthy, but it seems this might be the overall fastest team in the past 5 years. Thoughts. Hook'em
