  1. Correction: Foster was on campus Thursday to sit down with Gideon and the staff. He was not present for the scrimmage.
  2. For the 2028 class, be sure to learn the name James Foster III. 2028 safety out of Lancaster HS. Foster was on campus for the scrimmage last night. This will be one to follow closely, as there will be a heated regional rivalry for his pledge and I am sure the national schools will have something to say before it's all said and done. 3. TJ Finley punching air somewhere.
  4. Phew... Quite the play from Coleman. Nice coverage and positioning from freshman CB Samari Matthews as well.
  5. There is nothing to this.
  6. I missed this yesterday! Awesome for Gbenda, love to see it.
  7. I don't think Texas is going to be done adding these late flyers out of the portal very similar to Patterson. The 105 allows them to basically buy up penny stocks at this point in the calendar and see if one grows into something of value.
  8. After two trips to Austin in three weeks, I think he knows the answer.
  9. Recruiting rankings don't really move me with how much emphasis is now coming from the portal.
  10. Also, Rodriguez wasn't really lighting it up at the plate this year, but he was doing a great job at getting on base. Was walking a ton.
  11. A-Rod spoke right before the season about not hitting everyday to give himself some offdays and time to relax. Hoping this solves the issue fully, he was clearly squinting on swings and misses.
  12. Rodriguez told reporters at the beginning of the season that he learned he didn't need to swing every day while dealing with the injury last year. But beyond that the hand is clearly an issue. This type of power has been noticeably absent.
  13. Texas says Rodriguez is considered "week to week" currently.
  14. Makes total sense, he never looked comfortable on swings and misses this year.
  15. ... To the Texas recruiting staff. I spoke with a parent of a national recruit this weekend who accompanied their son on a visit to see the Longhorns this past week. The parent told me they have been to around 20 different college campuses during their son's recruitment so far – ranging from game day atmospheres, to spring practices to summer camps and more. Yet, it was the trip to Austin to see the Longhorns which stood out the most. This parent told me that the trip to Texas was far and away the most prepared he had seen a school for their son to arrive. The Longhorns rolled out the red carpet on the trip and took care of every minor detail possible. All in all, Texas hosted about 20–25 prospects over the weekend. Sounds like they did a great job with the prioritization of guys on campus.
  16. Zona and Michigan is the national title game
  17. 2027 Pflugerville Weiss WR Tre Moore is headed to a workout with Xavier Worthy after his visit to Texas which just wrapped up. Moore took his second trip to Michigan yesterday and plans to Texas A&M and Washington soon.
  18. Baylor and SMU are the other two official visit spots.
  19. Isaiah Udom just left Austin, said he loved his trip and that Texas “felt like home” this morning. Udom will officially visit June 12th and said he cannot wait to be back.
  20. 2029 Willis QB Linc Frazier was back on campus today. Said his visit was much more personable with the staff today, and added that an offer from Texas “would mean everything.”
  21. Texas really digging into the Sierra Canyon pipeline. 2028 OL on campus today.
  22. 2030 WR Ronnie Lee on campus. Youngest player I’ve seen receive an invite this spring.
  23. 2028 Frisco Lone Star OL Kendrick Morgan and family on campus
