  1. Couple of updates on 2027 Prospects *** I added the name Ja'Bios Smith to the official visit thread earlier today but wanted to make sure he got his full mention. The 2027 linebacker out of Swainsboro (Ga.) High confirmed to OTF this morning that he will be in Austin for his official visit on June 12-14. The 6-foot-3-inch, 200-pound linebacker holds 23 offers and is considered a consensus top-100 prospect in the country. Official Visit schedule May 28 – Florida June 12 – Texas *** OTF checked in on 2027 North Crowley CB Jerry Outhouse Jr. who visited Austin in January for the junior day. Outhouse tells OTF that he has not heard from Texas recently regarding a possible official visit date. Additionally, Hutto DB Jaiden Fields has not yet heard from Texas. I had seen a question or two regarding Fields after he scheduled his Texas A&M official visit, and checked in. No contact from Texas. *** 2027 Don Bosco Prep (NJ) LB Mikahi Allen tells OTF that he will confirm his official visit date this week with the Texas staff. Allen, a 6-foot-2-inch, 227-pound linebacker prospect is a top-200 player per the composite ranking. Allen holds 28 offers at the moment. Official Visit schedule TBD
  2. Phew.. no need to mention that name lol
  3. That may not be a far-fetched prediction
  4. For the most part. 0 - Raleek Brown 1 - Ryan Wingo 2 - Hollywood Smothers 3 - Emmett Mosley V 4 - Jermaine Bishop Jr 5 - Derrek Cooper 6 - Dia Bell 7 - Kaliq Lockett 8 - Cam Coleman 9 - KJ Lacey
  5. That 2010-2015 stretch was brutal man.
  6. Devin Duvernay was the only player to wear No. 6 to get Drafted. Collin Johnson was the only player to wear No. 9 to get Draft.
  7. Sometimes you just get bored throughout the offseason. That is where we are today. Hopefully this conversation topic helps waste some time for folks at work! I charted every player who has worn a single digit number on the offensive side of the football for the Texas Longhorns since 2000. Light green - draft pick Green - top 3 round pick Dark green - 1st round pick Gold - award winner
  8. Yep! Think it's a great fit for him.
  9. The Arizona Cardinals have hired former Texas defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski to be their next defensive line coach. Best of luck to PK.
  10. Good stuff on the midweek after starting slow. One note, Anthony Pack left the game with cramps. He should be fine for the weekend.
  11. Maddox Monsoor with walk-off triple! How about that. After starting down 3–0, Texas turns it around. 2 HR for Tinney 4.0 IP for Sam Cozart, allowing just 1 ER and striking out four.
  12. Nice to see the lineup wake up! Larson goes the opposite way for a RBI 2B
  13. Anthony Pack is replaced by Duplantier at the plate. Pack had been dealing with cramps for about a full inning now, he’s done for the night
  14. Nice 2-rbi triple for Temo Becerra. That's a great piece of hitting with 2 strikes to go the other way with that one.
  15. Josh Livingston has looked comfortable at the plate tonight. But yet to see results go his way. Now 0-8 on the season at the plate.
  16. He looked good. 1-2-3 inning without really anything looking in harms way sat 94-95 with the fastball too.
  17. Sam Cozart comes in for some relief work.
  18. Another walk for Carson Tinney. His 8th in four games this year.
  19. Spectacular catch from the Lamar RF to rob Adrian Rodriguez of extra bases. That was pretty sprcial
  20. Liked that 1-2-3 inning for Walker. Pack is still getting used to the RF winds - clearly. Schloss did mention before the season began that was the toughest corner OF spot to play that he has coached.
  21. I’m back out at the yeti yard area for this one, I will say it’s cool seeing the influx of students walk in (with their beverages) and talk about moving directly over to Moody Center for the Texas-LSU game that tips at 8:00 pm. Well done by Texas Athletics with the timing.
  22. First pitch after the pitching change is driven up the middle for a single by Temo Becerra. Borba scores. 3–2 Lamar, Texas still w just one out
  23. Fantastic base running by Casey Borba to catch Lamar sleeping and snag 3rd following the Livingston groundout.
