  1. Multiple SEC Championship Game appearances and several CFP Semifinal matchups.
  2. I heard the OL was further along in pass protection than run blocking in the spring. The big test against tOSU may actually be advantageous for the long run. Know what works and what doesn't and get three consecutive weeks to work on issues before SEC play.
  3. The obvious choice on offense is Neto Umeozulu, outside of Arch... Defensively, Colton Vasek if he stays healthy. But I am keeping my eye on Warren Roberson a good bit. Heard his name way too often during the spring to completely disregard him in 2025.
  4. If he remains healthy, I have a hard time not picking Jonah Williams.
  5. Yes I believe that to be the case.
  6. tOSU, Florida, Georgia. I am probably wrong on the UF/UGA order, but I think the ability of a healthy DJ Lagway will be significantly more challenging than the offensive makeup of Georgia.
  7. One of my favorite recurring conversations was with Devin Sanchez during his recruitment. I would see him at various different locations, 7v7 tournaments, State Track meets, etc. Sanchez would always keep the same approach for questions about Texas – "Yeah, we'll see." was basically his message. Sanchez silently committed to Ohio State after visiting in November and publicly made the decision in January of 2024. It was rumored that Texas was going to go all the way back in for Sanchez towards the back end of the spring, and they did. Sanchez told me at the State Track Meet in April that there was no shot he was going to visit Texas again before signing – and he held firm on that. Texas eventually circled back to North Shore, literally, via helicopter with Steve Sarkisian and Terry Joseph, but the five-star cornerback never had interest in rethinking his commitment. Sanchez was the first to tell me Ohio State would land Riley Pettijohn, and at the time, he told me the Buckeyes were going to land Dakorien Moore as well. tOSU went 1-2 in those recruitments.
  8. The lineup should be deeper, with hopefully more of an ability to put the ball in play. Really, I am more intrigued in the bullpen. I think there are some really talented arms that will be in play for Texas after they have already expressed interest in. Especially from the left side.
  9. Hopefully all of them, I was beginning to book travel for some last night. Detours to Oak Lawn are always one of my favorite things to do when traveling up to Fayetteville. Asmussen's son was one of my good buddies in college.
  10. Vasek is without any braces/slings/casts etc. A positive sign. Toward the end of the spring I had heard he was nearing a full return and he has been on the field to begin the summer conditioning this week, yes.
  11. Is this my grandma's burner? lol
  12. 30-35 per game feels right for now. Jermayne Lole averaged 29 last year. Even with a crowded room this fall, I can't see January not taking on a much more involved role.
  13. Starting line up for me looks like ... Goosby-Umeozulu-Hutson-Campbell-Baker That was the best group in the spring. OL6 and OL7 appear to be Nate Kibble and one of Nick Brooks or Andre Cojoe at tackle.
  14. Trevor Goosby says bring it.
  15. Fielding your question in a quick open discussion! The Texas Longhorns are on the field for summer conditioning, the staff is hosting camps and official visitors this weekend and the Texas Softball team goes for a National Championship this evening! Bring your questions for the next few hours!
  16. It's a real fun conversation and with as many legends Texas has produced in a wide variety of sports, hard to pinpoint exactly four. Kavan is going to finish with one of the more decorated careers in Texas Softball history if they finish the series out against Texas Tech.
  17. I'm sure he, like most, won't be loving it in a few weeks.
  18. I think he wants his guys on the roster more than anything.
  19. I like this conversation topic. Men: Vince Young, TJ Ford, Brooks Kieschnick, Earl Campbell ... I don't like the two in one sport, but this feels necessary. HM: Leo Neugebauer Women: Clarissa Davis, Cat Osterman, Logan Eggleston (Just over Skinner), Reese Atwood Coaches: Eddie Reese, Darrel Royal, Jody Conradt, Jerritt Elliott Dave O'Niell deserves his credit for rowing as well.
  20. I could only imagine how frustrating a year it was for Farmer.
  21. 4 errors is 4 too many in a game like this, but what a win.
  22. Teagan Kavan is now up to 24.0 innings pitched with zero earned runs allowed in the WCWS.
