    I wouldn’t be shocked to see some news drop soon on the topic of Kiffin and his 2026 coaching destination.

    Yeah I would think so. But again, Texas has proven that if a player is a priority, they will not let them walk out the door.

    When backed up with the college football playoff, that could’ve been the case last year. It shouldn’t be an overlapping issue in December, however.

    Also, fwiw, I’ve heard Sarkisian wants to be more involved in portal evaluations. He obviously has been very involved in the past, but I think he knows the buck stops with him at the end of the day and he’s ready for his roster to be 100% based off of his decision making and personnel choices.

    I feel great about the front seven next year. Probably will add another portal DL just to be sure, we’ll see how expensive they go. A LB add wouldn’t be a shock. Definitely a portal addition at safety, maybe two. Certainly a take at cornerback.

    Could be, 15 probably the floor a few names that may come as surprises, but we’re still a ways away from the portal opening.

    Going to be interesting to see who Texas pushes to retain and who they allow walk. This isn't to sound alarm bells, but I could see 15 or so departures this year. Texas had 13 a year ago, I would suspect it to be a little bigger this offseason.

    2028 Weiss WR Jordan Anderson will be in Norman this weekend as well. He’s up to 1000 receiving yards on the season, opposite of Tre Moore. SMU, Houston, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Texas State, and UNT have all offered.

    OL JJ Mays is locked in with Texas Tech, he will enroll in January.

    WR Tre Moore says he’s been to Texas twice this year and will return again for the Texas A&M game as I mentioned above. Texas A&M, OU, LSU, Texas all in the mix We will see what Alabama does

    Sounds like Texas A&M and Alabama are two schools very close to pulling the trigger for LB Tylan Henderson as well.

    2028 OLB Reagan Smith is a total stud. Visited Texas for the Vandy game. Was at Ohio State last week as well. Texas State, Houston, UTSA have offered. Smiths dad was a freshman all American TE at Tyler JuCo. Said he hopes to grow another inch this offseason. Currently stands 6–3, 210

    ASU coach Kenny Dillingham stopped by during their bye week about 4 weeks ago. Spoke with Tre Moore and Jordan Frohock.

    2028 LB Tylan Henderson picked up an Ohio State offer last week after visiting Columbus. Henderson visited Texas for the Vanderbilt game. Expected at A&M this weekend. Said it was his first time speaking with Coach Nansen and that Texas is evaluating him closely now.
