    Following the dismissal of Ty'Anthony Smith, the question about Texas being in the market for one of these new portal linebackers has popped up. Immediately, the one that comes to mind is reigning Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year, LB Trent Hendrick, who was one of the players recently granted a TRO to return to college football. A decision is set to come this afternoon for Hendrick, and OTF has learned the Longhorns are not expected to be the pick. There was brief communication per a source, but nothing beyond that. Look for UCLA to bring in a new linebacker when the decision comes.
