    The rest of the SEC should be pretty happy Tennessee has millions tied up with Nico, rather than spreading that money out to other prime positions and finding an actual game changer at QB.

    Sounds like a total mess. The Tennessee QB held out of practice due to a contract dispute reportedly. Meanwhile, I look back to what Arch Manning said yesterday about sitting for two years to become the quarterback at The University of Texas: “Sometimes things are worth the wait.” Very fortunate this is the QB situation in Austin.

    I could see 2 WR before 2 TE. This would have been the perfect year for a Silas Bolden-type add at the WR room (plus a vet). A guy who can double in the return game as well while giving you 5-15 snaps per game depending on situation.

    That would be the red flag for me. Texas has only targeted guys that are 6'4+ this cycle. Lole last year was the shortest DL at 6'3"

    WVU DL Amir Leonard-Jean Charles entered the portal. He visited Texas a handful of times during last year's cycle.

    Wanted to create a thread to keep a tally on portal entrants ahead of the Portal officially opening on April 16. Just some names that have entered that either had Texas ties previously, or would make sense given what we know about the ensuing hunt in the portal to fill the 2025 roster.

    Texas will use a lot of two-guard sets next year imo. Preston and Harmon played well together this year. Hopefully Crump can provide some scoring next to Booker and Lee as welll.
