  1. I agree. Plant the seeds early without knowing what it’s for so it becomes second nature immediately.
  2. Sark said they will start that tOSU prep two weeks out from game day. But you’re right, I bet this whole summer has been filled with pieces specifically for the Buckeyes.
  3. Sayin is listed at 6–1, 203 on the Buckeye roster.
  4. Keeping an Eye on the Buckeye QBs It is certainly worth keeping an eye on what is going on in fall camp in Columbus. The expectation entering fall camp is QB1 is Julian Sayin, though I have heard over the summer that the competition is a little closer than folks in Columbus might have envisioned. Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day told reporters in Columbus after day one of fall camp his QB situation will be watched closely over the course of the next week: "We're just getting moving around, so hard to tell. I do think all three of them look a little bit stronger, a little bit more explosive, moving better. A little bit more command of the huddle. But we'll watch the film and kind of go from there. Day 1 without pads is kind of hard. We'll have a better feel -- give me four or five days and get a better idea." Career Stats Julian Sayin: 5/12 passing, 84 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT Sayin has a career long of 55 yards which came against Western Michigan in a 56–0 victory last fall. Lincoln Kienholz: 10/22 passing, 111 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT The majority of tape we have seen on Kienholz came in a disastrous Cotton Bowl appearance against Missouri in 2023. Kienholz, who was thrust into action, completed six of 17 attempts and had six rush attempts for two yards. Tavien St. Clair: true freshman St. Clair was the No. 1 quarterback in the country per 247Sports and the No. 4 player overall in the class of 2025.
  5. Wasn’t expecting top two odds, but all in for a big season from Endries
  6. This thread could (and probably will) go on for my entire lifetime.
  7. That's pretty funny
  8. looks incredible
  9. Surprisingly, Texas Tech has the most named to the Shrine Bowl watch list with 22
  10. It was mentioned again to me last night that it shouldn’t be expected to see much if any of Baxter against Ohio State.
  11. That’s all for Sarkisian today. We will have more on the Wednesday Livestream this evening with myself, Rod Babers and Jeff Howe.
  12. Sarkisian says it might’ve been a bit intentional to get Colin Simmons and Ethan Burke under the skin of the newer offensive linemen. Trying to understand where their mindsets were at early on in camp when facing other top comp.
  13. Sarkisian calls TE Jack Endries a “cerebral guy.” Says with this being his first practice, things were going quick for him but he wanted to make sure he was taking things in each snap he was on the field.
  14. Sarkisian credits Cj Baxter for his long road on his recovery for bringing focus and energy while also having a great first practice. Says the combination of Wisner (who he called the Energizer Bunny) and Baxter is a huge boost to the offense as a whole.
  15. Sarkisian says he thinks Cj Baxter and Derek Williams “both looked really good” Williams is a bit ahead of Baxter in his recovery timeline Says Baxter may have looked a little better than anticipated coming into practice.
  16. Ryan Wingo was mentioned as a guy who had a great summer by Sarkisian. Says he can “run all day” north of 200 pounds. Hero Kanu also receives some recognition for taking his summer workouts to “another level.” As did Zina Umeozulu says Steve Sarkisian. Jerrick Gibson received some praise too, sark says he’s in great shape.
  17. Sarkisian says for Ethan Burke, it’s been the best summer and offseason for him as a Longhorn. Sark points to the work done on his body as a huge positive “He plays a relentless brand of football.” Says Ethan has really tried to “seize the opportunity” “He was one of the players of the spring for us.”
  18. Texas will practice four times this week, then Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Friday followed by a scrimmage on Saturday.
