  8. Margueritte Aozasa, who led UCLA to the 2022 NCAA women’s soccer championship in her debut season as head coach, has been hired by Texas. During her four-year tenure, Aozasa coached a 67-13-9 record and won two conference titles along with a national championship.

  11. Scherer is a heck of an athlete. Wanted to play tight end and defensive end in high school but kept growing and was convinced to give tackle a try. Turned out to be a pretty good decision.

Kaden Scherer becomes the latest to join the Texas 2026 class and it comes on the heels of an official visit over the weekend with the Horns. Scherer, a 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive line, said he grew up rooting and watching the Longhorns as a kid in Georgetown and when the offer came in, it was a very big deal for him. Texas adds another offensive lineman to the class. Scherer told me last week Texas was pitching both tackle and guard to him, wanting to see how he would develop and progress physically.   17. Per Texas Athletics, the leaders in pass break ups in 2025: 5 – Kade Phillips 5 – Graceson Littleton Two freshmen leading the room in PBUs. Phillips doing so on very limited snaps, the 7th most of any DB this season.
  18. It'd be great. All 22 tape on YouTube is really tricky. Copyright issues and obtaining all 22 tape are the biggest hurdles. Otherwise, I think it would be fantastic content
