  1. Talented ballplayer with a plus frame.
  2. Texas has yet to offer 2026 Temple DL Jamarion Carlton, but he has a very high ceiling and I take it it won't be long before interest comes around. Carlton stands 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds at the moment. Check the clips for the explosiveness. Oklahoma State and Houston offered the last two days.
  3. Kenny Baker stopping by Denton Guyer to see Xavier Ukponu for the first time.
  4. 2025 North Crowley LB Jonathan Cunningham just received a Texas offer as well.
  5. Coach Baker with Xavier Ukponu.
  6. Wanted to compile a list of where the Texas coaching staff was going to be on the recruiting trail this afternoon. Of course, new stops will be highlighted in the comments, but an overview of where we have seen the Texas coaches stop thus far. *** Steve Sarkisian • Mansfield Timberview HS – 2025 DL Dilan Battle • Lewisville HS – 2025 OL Michael Fasusi • North Crowley – 2025 LB Jonathan Cunningham • North Crowley – 2026 OL John Turntine Tashard Choice • Lewisville HS – 2025 OL Michael Fasusi • North Crowley – 2025 LB Jonathan Cunningham • North Crowley – 2026 OL John Turntine • Aledo – 2026 Texas RB commit Raycine Guillory Jr. Chris Jackson • Parish Episcopal HS – Wednesday Pete Kwiatkowski • Fenwick HS (Ill.) – 2025 DL Nathaniel Marshall Kenny Baker • Denton Guyer HS – 2025 DL Xavier Ukponu (expected) • Mansfield Timberview HS – 2025 DL Dilan Battle Johnny Nansen • Los Alamitos HS (Calif.) – 2026 CB Andre Johnson Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18139572/657216a70dc04c057410c241 Blake Gideon (Wednesday)* • Mountain Pointe HS (Ariz.) – 2025 DB Rylon Dillard-Allen • Mountain Pointe HS (Ariz.) – 2025 DL Kaleb Jones • Desert Edge HS (Ariz.) – 2025 CB Jamar Beal-Goines

  8. Interestingly, Battle says he's down to 300 lbs, about a 15 lbs shy of what he's listed at on most sites. He looks like he is carrying that weight well in the pic above.
  9. Baker and Sarkisian just wrapped up at Mansfield Timberview to see Dilan Battle.
  10. I love it. District of death
  11. 2025 TN DL Ethan Utley was one Texas is pursuing. Utley says he has yet to hear from Kenny Baker just yet. If Baker hits the out of state road, I would expect his first two stops to be at Eau Gallie and Ensworth, TN.
  12. Texas Defensive Coordinator and Outside Linebackers Coach Pete Kwiatkowski is in Illinois to continue the theme of Texas coaches hitting the road. Kwiatkowski stopped by Fenwick High School this morning to check in on a relatively new name – DL Nathaniel Marshall. Marshall is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound outside linebacker prospect who has earned offers now from 26 programs nationally. Marshall also ranks inside the top 30 nationally with a five-star rating boasted on the 247Composite rankings.
  13. Texas does not have the position of GM at the moment. It was a rather recent adoption for most programs with it.
  14. I looked a bit at the roster last night. It was an underwhelming year for the DL, especially where Texas is really looking to add. I would be very surprised if Texas went after any BC kids.
  15. The recruiting trail remains hot for the Longhorn staff. Steve Sarkisian is in DFW following his induction into the East-West Shrine Bowl Hall of Fame in Frisco yesterday. As a result, Sarkisian and offensive coordinator Kyle Flood are currently at Lewisville to see 2025 OL Michael Fasusi. Fasusi was at Missouri during the Texas Junior Day, so it goes without saying that this face time visit is important for the Longhorns.
  16. Let's get it!
  17. So far, it has just been Brown. Though as he ranges into DFW, it would not be a surprise to see him joined by another Texas staff member. I would expect it today.
  18. We have been closely monitoring the whereabouts of new Texas defensive line coach Kenny Baker since his addition to the staff. Today marks day three of Coach Baker being out on the trail, in the state of Texas, to see 2025 targets as a Longhorn assistant. So far, here is the tally for where Coach Baker has stopped. Tuesday Cy Fair – 2025 DL Landon Rink Randle – 2025 DL Chace Sims Spring – 2025 DL Lance Guidry Wednesday Katy Paetow – 2025 DL Carmello Brooks Houston Heights High School Lufkin – 2025 DL Zion Williams Today, I have received word that a trip to DFW is in store. Stops to see DL Xavier Ukponu at Denton Guyer and to Timberview to see DL Dilan Battle are expected for Thursday. It is likely other stops are thrown into the mix as well while in DFW, but for now, those two are ones I know are for sure happening. Busy week for the newest Longhorn assistant. But alas, Texas is back firing on the defensive line trail.

  20. Coach Baker also stopped by Katy Paetow to see 2025 DL Carmello Brooks. Busy couple of days for the new addition to the staff.
  21. Look for Baylor to be a threat here.
  22. Texas has extended a new offer to 2025 ATH Dallas Golden out of Tampa, FL. Jeff Banks was the coach to extend the offer to Golden as the Longhorns become the 42nd school to join the race for the four-star prospect. Golden did just about everything in 2023, with snaps at S, CB, WR and RB. The 6-foot-1 athlete racked up over 1,400 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns while averaging over 7.3 yards per attempt. Texas continues their path to creating a deeper footprint in the south and into Florida.

  23. Just a mindless twitter rumor. Won't happen. If A&M did try to pursue it, it would be the biggest mistake A&M has ever made.
