  1. Freshman TE Nick Townsend will wear number 81 this fall.
  2. The team underwent photo day earlier in the week and are just starting to post their photos that will be used for promotional bits and in-game hype clips. As well as finding some out numbers from the newcomers.
  3. I like Klatt a lot, but the Michigan-Oklahoma game might only shape which team hits 8 wins this season.
  4. Dropped a top four without Texas. Schools included were Houston, Baylor, Ole Miss and Arizona. This, obviously, was the expectation given the official visit scheduled for last weekend did not occur. Given the board at the moment, the only safeties who officially visited Texas in the month of June include North Shore DB Chace Calicut and DB Davon Benjamin out of Westlake Village (Calif.).
  5. He told me in the spring brain surgeon might not be the path but something in the world of medicine will be. That's a lot of school to juggle while playing high-level football.
  6. A&M feels like they are in good positioning for Aaron Thomas fwiw. I Think Texas would be very happy given the circumstances.
  7. Just the way it has turned out for Texas as of late.
  8. Benjamin is as talented as any DB in this cycle imo. He's a stud.
  9. A bit surprising imo. Calicut had Texas as his favorite in the spring and I had heard the official visit went very well over the weekend. Georgia remains tough to beat and North Shore remains unfriendly to Texas.
  10. Hahah this is awesome work
  11. How about this for a lineup: 2B Ethan Mendoza LF Aiden Robbins DH Kaleb Freeman C Carson Tinney RF Jack Moroknek 3B Adrian Rodriguez CF Jonah Williams SS Temo Becerra 1B Josh Livingston / 1B-3B Casey Borba Pretty gnarly group right there.
  12. Absolutely tremendous addition to the lineup.
  13. The weekend has begun!
  14. I would keep an eye on softball portal outfielder out west.
  15. Sophomore Hudl: http://www.hudl.com/v/2REWZF Roberts was clocked at 10.7 as well.
  16. 2027 Chandler (Az) running back Noah Roberts took a midweek visit to see Texas this afternoon. Roberts, a 6-foot-1-inch, 210-pound running back was offered by the Longhorns on May 5 and already is showing interest with a visit to Austin. Texas has had plenty of success recruiting success in Arizona recently and Roberts comes in as the highest rated running back from the state of Arizona since Bijan Robinson.
  17. Man, isn't that right. Such a relieving feeling.
  18. Has been named the MVP of the Elite 11.
  19. When all of the prospects you are recruiting in a cycle are top-100 players in the country, each loss feels significant. This one fits the bill. But the big board at EDGE room remains healthy and the Longhorns are in it for a number of elite guys.
