  1. Help me out. As most of y'all know, I enjoy going down random rabbit holes from the previous season to get an idea as to why or how games or trends ended up the way they did. I have some ideas for rabbit holes that will be coming out after spring ball. 3rd quarter opening drives possibly red zone again But let me know what other topics you would like to see explained. Anything on the defensive side of the ball will work as well. Let me know what has always stuck on the top of your mind and I will get to researching.
  2. Looking at a handful. There have been names that have surfaced in the past that are still on roster. It's quite likely Texas adds more than loses in the spring portal window with 81 scholarships at the moment.
  3. Man that’d be awesome for DMo. He was spectacular until the knee injury occurred last year.
  4. Was the first in pads of the spring. Practice was held at DKR this morning as well. A quick nugget – RT Andre Cojoe saw time with the first team at right tackle during the team portion of practice at the end. There will be opportunities for both Cojoe and Brandon Baker at the right tackle spot this spring. Also, as you would expect, TE Spencer Shannon saw all first team snaps at TE with Jordan Washington sidelined for the spring.
  5. Welcome to what my friends call "Vogel's Law"
  6. I am 27 years old and truly believe I won't see a big 3 national championship at Texas A&M in my life.
  7. Would be a huge class. Edwards – Baylor and Texas A&M are biggest battles Crowell – Alabama and Auburn are biggest threats with FSU and UGA looming
  8. This will also be the first face to face meeting for Edwards and RB Coach Chad Scott by the way.

  10. 2026 Carthage RB KJ Edwards to Visit Austin in April Texas will be getting an unofficial visit from 2026 Carthage RB KJ Edwards April 11-12. The Longhorns will get Edwards for an official visit on June 6 as well, a date that was quickly settled upon after a quick discussion with new Texas RB coach Chad Scott.
  11. I am still wondering a bit what the plan for him would be. Probably a 6.5 considering he did just have 7.0 sacks last year. More than 2x the next highest sack-getter on Stanford a year ago, and in this Texas front seven, he would be doubled exactly 0 times next fall.
  12. Pretty wild move on the surface. We will see what A&M is able to do with their coaching search. For Texas fans, you better hope the coach at Mississippi stays at his gig for 2025-26.
  13. Looking like that will be a package lol
  14. Stanford EDGE rusher David Bailey is set to visit Texas on Tuesday according to a report from On3 Sports. Bailey recorded 7.0 sacks for Stanford in 2024 and was in Lubbock Monday for a visit with the Red Raiders. According to the report, a visit to UCLA is in play as well. The 6-foot-3-inch, 240-pound linebacker also recorded five forced fumbles last fall.
  15. Super violent. Like the potential as a pass-rusher
  16. Payton kept him around every year it felt lilke.
  17. Brandon Jones, PJ Locke, Malcolm Roach are all on roster in Denver right now. LilJordan Humphrey just wrapped up a stint with Denver too.
  18. Brandon Jones likes it.
  19. Former Longhorn QB Sam Ehlinger has found a new home in the NFL. He inked a one-year deal with Denver Broncos Monday morning. A nice landing spot for Ehlinger, as he joins Sean Payton who certainly has a soft spot for Texas players.
  20. Going to be interesting to see how Trey Moore is implemented in the LB room this spring. Room has plenty of dudes.
  21. I saw he picked up the Houston offer on Sunday, pretty good start to his recruitment for how young he is. Will be interesting to see what he does with the baseball path, looks to be a pretty solid prospect on the diamond. I haven’t heard anything in regards to Texas, but QB recruiting at Texas is always a very interesting journey on a given cycle.
