  1. 3 Stars of the Game vs. Mississippi State 2025 *** Star No. 1 – Arch Manning For my money's worth, that was the best game of Arch Manning's 2025 season. The first half statistically did not pop, but add in three drops to the review and he was actually spot on for most of the game. Manning still had a rough slant throw to Mosley on 3rd & 2, but other than that, he ended with 346 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, while adding two scrambles of 10+ yards as well. Star No. 2 – Ryan Niblett This individual season for Ryan Niblett has been like one I have never seen. Niblett has singled handedly been responsible for 24 points by himself over the last three weeks, all out of the punt return game. And credit to that unit a well, the blocking set up has been spectacular, and overall execution has been great. Star No. 3 – Ethan Burke Texas trusted Burke with the most snaps of his career and he came through with a very strong performance. A sack, two tackles for loss and a blocked field goal are all on the tally for Burke. It was interesting hearing from Burke postgame, the blocked field goal sequence is practiced step by step in practice. It isn't "Go be big!" but instead a closely monitored process that is mimicked in practice often throughout the week. HM1 Anthony Hill Jr. – Another weekend of being one of the top tacklers for the Longhorns, this time with 2.5 sacks added to the tally. HM2 Emmett Mosley V – The game-winning touchdown in overtime was a remarkable snag. I think Texas needs to redirect some targets this way to Mosley moving forward.
  2. I was in the same boat at the start of the 4th. Didn’t see any reason to think differently from body language on the sideline either. yet, proven completely wrong. Still can’t really explain it. But a remarkable come from behind win.
  3. Hilarious timing in all of this.
  4. One of the most impressive single game performances I have ever watched.

  8. FWIW, 2.333 would be the fifth fastest sack in the NFL this year according to Next Gen Stats.
  9. This is the missed slant to Mosley. Arch gets annihilated here on a free runner.
  10. Yep. 1 target to Mosley in the 1st half... goes for 31 yards. 1 target to Moore in the first 58 minutes... goes for 19. 1 target to Livingstone in the 1st half... incomplete.
  11. Here’s my problem with Arch on waggles. There are yards to be had here. He did the same thing against UF on the throw to Wisner for a TD. Get rid of this ball the second Endries clears that defender, and there’s room to create a missed tackle. Instead, the ball is thrown late and the play loses a yard. copy_F7A0FD9D-B732-4FAB-A303-0B3A73820191.mov
  12. 3rd & 8 on the UK 37 yard line. The end zone angle. Loss of 2
  13. Arch outside the pocket has been fantastic the last three weeks.
  14. Davis play a lot of safety at Fairview. Has tremendous ball skills and effortlessly plays the football.
  15. 2025 Midseason highlights: http://www.hudl.com/v/2SzKUA
  16. New 2026 Cornerback Offered Mark Orphey has extended a new offer in the class of 2026. Texas offered 2026 Fairview CB Toray Davis out of Boulder, Colorado Monday afternoon. Davis, a 6-foot-1-inch cornerback recently decommitted from UCLA in September and has earned offers from Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Arizona State and now Texas in the month since being back on the market. In the current 2026 class, Davis comes in ranked right inside the top 500 in the national composite rankings. The Longhorns sit with Hayward Howard Jr. and Smoke Matthews in the class at the moment.
  17. Sark wanted 2 plays to get 8 yards. Thought he could catch 4-5 here. Kentucky brings pressure. C gets blown up. RT loses inside. TE gets lost in the traffic. Just a total mess.
