  1. Awesome time speaking with new 2026 Texas WR commit Kohen Brown tonight on the Longhorn Livestream! About 9:30 in, it begins.
  2. Sophomore Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19965528/67570328c6031c096537c81f
  3. Brewster meeting with Steve Sarkisian this afternoon.
  4. 2027 Cedar Hill DL Jalen Brewster on Campus Wednesday The Longhorns are hosting 2027 Cedar Hill DL Jalen Brewster for a midweek unofficial visit Wednesday afternoon. Brewster is currently ranked as the No. 1 defensive lineman and No. 7 overall prospect in the country per the composite in the 2027 class. The Cedar Hill prospect was at Texas A&M, camping for the Aggies on Tuesday, and Indiana over the weekend. Notable Offers: Alabama Auburn Florida State Georgia Indiana LSU Michigan Nebraska Oklahoma Ohio State Oregon Penn State Texas Texas A&M Texas Tech USC
  5. The 2025 home games are very boring, yes. You get Texas A&M, yes. Then what, a 4–8 Arkansas?
  6. The lack of exciting home games, a full calendar month away from DKR, and an 11:00 am kick for Vandy. Not a great year for DKR games.
  7. WIll have to battle between Tennessee/Florida and Missouri/Oklahoma for a night game. I bet it gets the 6:30 p.m. slot
  8. Good luck this year, season ticket holders!
  9. More kickoff times have been released for the 2025 Texas Football schedule. Nothing significant change wise. Texas will be under the lights at Kentucky, and Vanderbilt will be an 11:00 am kick at DKR. Georgia and Arkansas remain FLEX times.
  10. Keeping an eye on an east-coast freshman INF as well for Texas.
  11. Full circle moment. Pretty cool.
  12. This weekend might turn even more fortuitous for the good guys.
  13. Westlake Village DB Davon Benjamin concluding his official visit to Texas. Jelani McDonald was his official visit host.
  14. A family member of Davon Benjamin told me they are headed to Carolina “to see a school” right now, then will head back to California after the visit east.
  15. “He’s been knowing me since I was 9 or 10 years old,” Brown said about LaAllen Clark. “His dad used to coach me in middle school basketball. So ever since then I used to go to his camps back in Baton Rouge. It’s just a real good relationship with him. I probably have the best relationship with him out of all of the coaches that have been recruiting me over the last three years I think.”
  16. Brown mentioned Dylan Berymon started recruiting him a bit after he committed, as did Hayward Howard Jr. Howard and Brown played little league together growing up, and their moms are very close friends as well.
  17. Lamar Beown saying LaAllen Clark is the best relationship in his recruitment was huge for Texas’ chances. They aren’t in this recruitment at all if not for Clark.
  18. Brandon Baker hosted Malakai Lee on his visit. Lee also said he made sure to call Liona Lefau ahead of the visit to get his thoughts on Texas. There is a connection there with Lee’s father and Lefau’s father who worked together back in Hawaii. Some interesting connections to the state as well. Texas did a great job on this official visit. I don’t buy any Michigan crystal ball after speaking with Lee, by the way.
