  1. Sarkisian: "I thought Quinn played fantastic today, and I thought he played great two weeks ago against Vanderbilt... The ball was going to the right guys on time and they were catchable balls."

  17. Texas will host 2026 DL prospect Bryce Perry-Wright again this weekend for the Florida game. The talented defensive lineman out of Buford, GA was on campus in April for a spring practice and makes his return for a game for the first time this season. Texas has done a tremendous job of creating a foothold in Georgia, and the visit is another reminder of the work being put in by the staff and Kenny Baker. Perry-Wright currently holds 39 offers and is considered a top-50 national player in 2026 by the 247Sports Composite.
  18. Sarkisian says the Texas staff was eating dinner when the CFP Top 25 poll was released. "The popularity of college football right now is at an all-time high." Sarkisian says he asked his team Wednesday morning who watched the CFP show, to which he said about half the team raised hands.

  20. On DKR celebrating 100 years: "It is an amazing arena, an amazing stadium..." Sarkisian says he takes a walk around the stadium before every home game where he has moments of reminiscence of DKR, Mack Brown, Vince Young. Says he is incredibly fortunate to be a part of the program to be a part of the program and those who preceded his tenure here.
  21. Sarkisian says he is telling the team to "be where their feet are" in terms of focusing at the game this weekend but also realizing where they are in the hunt for the SECCG. Phase three begins this weekend.
  22. Sark says too many times over the last three games have teams had free rushers at the quarterback where the QB believed there would be protection. He says as a result, it can spook a quarterback in the pocket when they are getting hit when they believed protection would be there.
  23. Sarkisian on DB Andrew Mukuba as he returns from injury: “I thought Andrew had a really good practice today… he was in really good spirits after practice.”
  24. The UF OL is the engine that starts the offense says Sark. They are big and physical up front and provide an issue for opposing DL. Sarkisian says Napier and his staff do a good job of committing to the run game which opens up play actions, boot legs and other passing opportunities as a result.
