  1. I’m not sure many would have believed Texas would be a touchdown favorite over Georgia coming into the season, but they’re getting ever so close to that being the reality. I bet it sits at 5.5
  2. I highly doubt this gets to the locker room.
  3. Just a heads up. Texas has moved to a 5-point favorite over Georgia on BetMGM and most books in the market. Initial line opened up at three and has moved two full points in Texas’ favor.
  4. He’s accurate and decisive. I really like Beck as a QB prospect. Though to me it’s the surrounding cast that has yet to live up to hype
  5. Very true. Panthers have shown some life offensively since benching Bryce Young. He would be welcomed I’m sure in that run game.
  6. A couple things that stem beyond just the defense: Georgia's suffocating defense has not been evident this year. 40+ points to Alabama, 320+ yards to Auburn, 30+ points to Mississippi State. Teams are finding success on the ground against UGA. The Bulldogs only rank 45th in the country in rush defense – allowing 120.6 yards per game so far. I think it's a talented Georgia team, but it is not the 2021-2023 teams from a talent perspective. Offensively, point to the Kentucky game and the 1H vs. Alabama, those UGA offenses were really bad and it stemmed from lack of protection and quarterback play.
  7. Definitely! Been hoping to see Brooks in the league. Now waiting for Ryan Watts and Keilan Robinson next!
  8. For more data and stats along these lines, give BCFToys.com a look. Awesome website.
  9. I'm going to have to adjust the values on the x-axis to shorten the gaps here. Texas continues to have the #1 defense in the country in points allowed per possession at 0.51.
  10. I wanted to provide an update at the Points Per Drive chart for SEC teams through week seven. Of course, Texas and Georgia headline the weekend's slate, but Tennessee and Alabama provide a heck of a ballgame to look forward to as well. Some key takeaways: – Oklahoma has the worst offense in the SEC. – Miss State has a bottom five offense in the conference and just dropped 31 on Georgia in Athens. – Tennessee and Alabama have dramatically come back down to earth in this graphic. – Starting to see true tiers start to take form. Texas up top, then Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss in the next tier and Georgia, LSU, and Missouri shortly behind. – Kentucky, Arkansas and Texas A&M are all going to be very tough games for the Longhorns.
  11. What are we doing.
  12. Former Texas RB Jonathon Brooks is being designated to make his NFL Debut for the Carolina Panthers. Brooks suffered a torn ACL last year against TCU and has been waiting for his return to the field since then. Now, Brooks is able to return to practice for the first time as a pro.
  13. Cam Williams, Gunnar Helm and Vernon Broughton continue to be the poster boys of development among this 2024 team
  14. I say they let him figure it out a bit longer
  15. Good for Quinn, deals keep lining up!
  16. Reminded me of Bijan vs. TTU, just not at the neck lol
  17. It was a great question too lol BOOM
  18. Play of discussion for Jake Majors. No clue how he didn't miss a play.
  19. A quick update on some injuries suffer against Oklahoma in Dallas. *** – Steve Sarkisian announced the end of the season for DB Derek Williams due to an injury suffered on the opening kickoff of the second half. Williams was in obvious pain and was on crutches after the game with a heavy wrap on his knee. Surgery will occur in a week or two. My best guess is a ligament injury, most likely ACL, but that is not confirmed at the moment. – As for WR Isaiah Bond, the Texas WR was in a boot up until at least Monday evening. Sarkisian mentioned postgame he was knicked with an ankle and was unable to go in the second half. The week of practice will be crucial for his availability on Saturday against Georgia, but Sarkisian mentioned having more optimism than originally expected on Monday during his press conference. *** Jake Majors got twisted up on a play where a lesser athlete probably loses his season but was able to remain in the game and appeared to be just fine Monday during his player availability.
