  1. Going to be a thrilling final three weeks.
  2. I hope coin-flipping as a tie-breaking procedure is never removed from these old district rule books.
  3. These are not the extended tie-breakers. You have to go to this page: https://www.secsports.com/fbtiebreaker to read through the 3-team tie breaking procedures. This site: https://bball.notnothing.net/sec.php?sport=fb has these tie-breakers built-in and explains all the possible scenarios.
  4. Agreed, that’s why Tech needs to win
  5. Texas up to 10 in the AP Poll, finally ranked above OU
  6. College GameDay has 3 games to choose from this week: Texas at Georgia Oklahoma at Alabama Notre Dame at Pitt I don't think they'd seriously consider Iowa at USC. The games above all have direct playoff effects.
  7. If Cincinnati wins out, they'll be the 2 seed for the Big 12 Championship. Then we want Tech to win big. That will be enough to keep BYU and Cincinnati out of the CFP.
  8. The teams playing our enemies are not good. But I also don’t think our enemies are good.
  9. Welp, Georgia doesn’t appear to have a long afternoon in front of them
  10. Now just need Arch to get a pic with Shohei for Gerry to go full Joy Mode
  11. Awful final two mins for them. Not jumping is the absolute only thing you need to do. And he did it.
  12. TE Lawson Luckie is going to be in concussion protocol
  13. Alright MSST, gotta do something this possession
  14. I'll go search his Venmo history
  15. Elyiss Williams is 6'7, 255 lbs... wow he is huge
  16. Bell fumbles inside the 5, MSST recovers
  17. Nate Frazier gets up hobbled after a 31-yard run
  18. Targeting being looked at against KJ Bolden. Don’t think it’ll be called tho
  19. MSST and Fluff Bothwell moving the ball on Georgia
  20. The winner of the American Conference is most likely going to be selected to the College Football Playoff as the 12 seed, even if they aren't ranked in the CFP Top 25, just like Memphis was this past Tuesday. After beating Memphis last night, Tulane has taken a step closer toward the CFP. Five teams in the American have 1 conference loss: Navy, South Florida, North Texas, Tulane, and East Carolina. East Carolina carries 3 losses overall, so if they won the conference, they would likely not be the committee's selection. - - - - - - Resumes Tulane and South Florida each have wins over Power 4 Teams: Tulane: Northwestern, Duke South Florida: Florida South Florida has the H2H win over North Texas. Tulane has H2H wins over East Carolina and Memphis. Navy plays Notre Dame later today in non-conference. A win would be a boon for their resume. - - - - - - Remaining Schedules Navy has South Florida and Memphis left on their schedule. Tulane and North Texas are through the difficult part of their schedule and will look to finish 7-1 in conference. Navy: South Florida, @ Memphis, Army South Florida: @ Navy, @ UAB, Rice Memphis: @ East Carolina, Navy North Texas: @ UAB, @ Rice, Temple Tulane: FAU, @ Temple, Charlotte East Carolina: @ UTSA, @ FAU It should be a very interesting finish as these teams not only fight for the American Conference Championship, but a spot in the CFP, too. - - - - - - Chances Outside the American San Diego State sits 7-1 overall in the Mountain West with a 34-0 win over California (the Aztecs are the only true contender in the Mountain West for the 12th Playoff spot as Boise State lost to South Florida and has 3 losses on the year. James Madison sits 7-1 overall in the Sun Belt. Even without a strong resume, finishing their schedule at 11-1 gives them a shot at the Playoff if the American Conference teams cannibalize themselves.
