    The carrying of Skattebo into the EZ and the non-targeting call against Isaiah Bond were bad. He was head-hunted. That game still causes me stress. As the OL gains more experience, I think their penalties will dissipate. Focus needs to be 100%.

    Exactly, it’s all part of growth and we forget that too quickly. Vince and Colt had struggles in the beginning. Same for the struggles and growth from ‘22 to the semifinal years of ‘23 and ‘24, too.

    I didn’t take anything you wrote as negative, Jeff. Sark’s quote about letting negative plays linger on offense was visible in the game. I’d be shocked if that sequence wasn’t discussed on Sunday morning when they met. That’s a good thing if it was discussed. You have to diagnose an issue to solve it. Arch and the offense will be better for it.

    The August 5th quote rings very true for Arch / the offense after the 4th down interception in the end zone. I believe that was the 2nd of the 10 consecutive incompletions. The Wingo wheel route thrown from the right hash to the left front pylon the throw prior was a difficult throw, but open. The interception on the next throw was went things went off the rails.

    The continuity into SEC play is a concern. Will already be without Baxter this game. Would like to see every starter for the UF game stay healthy and play a full game against OU, too. We need to start piling reps together as a unit. That’s about all we can ask at this point with non-con 75% complete.
