    The great Rod Babers preaches positional versatility. Texas is cross training and will have layers of players as they match up against the opposition. Taaffes time at nickel versus safety etc will be dictated by the coaches game plan but he certainly provides value at the nickel, otherwise they would solely utilize him as the all American safety he was a season ago.

    Let me add that this is Manning's third year in the program. He has patiently waited and is going to blow the roof off the house. If you're not in now? Why wouldn't you be?

    He will certainly make mistakes. Peyton who I think is an all time great threw 28 picks as a rookie. Peyton was humble and tough enough to rebound. I think Arch is going to be phenomenal. He practiced against elite defense here and Sark is a QB whisperer.

    I didn't realize Jaray had been in there that often, I guess he wasn't having a significant impact. I viewed him as a pass rusher and I hope justus Terry takes some of that responsibility and more.

    Tremendous article. Didn't realize Lole ate so many snaps. Norton was a huge surprise as I didn't expect much but he was like Ted Washington.

    I think this sentiment is short selling that we have a future number one overall pick in the NFL at QB which would be the first in modern Texas history

    I think it would be extremely irresponsible if you don't go all in with Arch as Qb. We put an expiration date on a sophomore and junior QB who helped lead Texas to back to back final fours. If you're holding back bullets in your pistol, shotgun etc you need to understand college is a short shelf life and you should be all in, every time, every game, every year. If injuries come into play and a planned redshirt is next in Line do you forego the red shirt over the walk on? The answer is yes , you have Arch Manning.

    As a guy who spent lots of summers in Cape Cod, the Jaws series is an all time classic. Hooper has physically matured so much. I never anticipated he'd be this good. Despite the loss he still has an extremely bright future ahead of him.

    Hooper was aggressive with push kicks, front kicks etc but was too slow and kept his chin high. Hernandez was using lateral movement causing Hooper to chase and Hernandez would blitz with power shots off the angle as Hooper lazily followed and kept throwing weak punches. As good as he's looked he looked sloppy and less tactical than previous bouts.

    Interesting how they used him on a lot of plays behind the line of scrimmage whether it be on reverses, options etc. Works the sideline extremely well and tough runner after the catch. Reminds me of a taller David Givens, looks like he will fit in tremendously with his versatility.

    Max Wright fits this bill imo. Huge ball of clay into the machine. Atkinson has a lot of Luke Keuchly/Ray Lewis to him. Intelligently insane.

    Loveland going ten was insane to me. Call me crazy but unless its a guaranteed Hall of fame player, would not recommend taking a skill position guy. Trade down or build trenches. Helms hurdles improved exponentially after OTF was established. Must have been the GoodRs. His catch at A and M was amazing.
