  1. Sarkisian's body language and expressions during games are his true feelings about his QB, not what he says in post game interviews. He knows Quinn is making wrong reads more often than not.
  2. Urban Meyer is tan ready and rested.
  3. He's not good.
  4. What outside people think of Quinn Ewers. Bascially sums it up very well.
  5. So, he's performing worse this year as opposed to last year. Good call.
  6. Yet, against similar SEC defenses Quinn struggled. Our WR corp is very good, yet coming into the SEC CG, you want to know how many had 100 yard games? 3. You want to know who the QB was for the majority of those games. It wasn't Ewers.
  7. There's plenty of data to support that this was the likely outcome with Quinn.
  8. Quinn has 24 games against P4 competition in his 3 years at Texas where he completed the game. He is 18-6 in those games. He is 17-1 when he leads at HT. The average spread is 20.8 to 4.3, his 1st loss when leading at HT was yesterday. Twice has he had to lead a 4Q comeback to retake the lead. ISU in 2022 with 4 minutes to go, and Bama last year with 14:05 left to go. He is 1-5 when trailing at HT. The average spread is 9.7 to 16.5, less than a TD. Only once has he managed to retake the lead in these games in the 4Q, last year against OU. People often talk about the clutch gene, Quinn just doesn't have it.
  9. Everyone in the Rose Stadium knew (including the USC coaches) that once we stopped them on 4th down they were losing the game. Not once have I ever felt anything remotely close to that feeling with Ewers at any point in his time at Texas. The same with Sam in 2019 against LSU, they knew if we got the ball back with a chance to win the game, we were going to win it.
  10. Georgia is an elite talented defense that only has to worry about 25 yards when playing Texas and Quinn Ewers. They can usually leave the middle of the field open because Quinn doesn't see it. Most of his throws are on the perimeter. The few times he tried the middle, one resulted in a 41-yard catch and run for a TD. We are seeing the same issues in the RZ manifest themselves again from last year, except this year Auburn is a pumpkin.
  11. This is interesting because guess who recruited him to Western Kentucky? 6'3" 300 pounds, 60 tackles. Dude looks like he can play.
  12. Money whip the best guy we can find.
  13. I was thinking after the game, did Texas even run 1 play inside the Georgia 10 yard line. I don't think we did. To answer your question, no. Ewers has proven over multiple games this season that he can't make that play, just like he didn't make that play last year against Washington. It's time for Texas to do a Clemson/Alabama.
  14. Texas really wants the 6th because the semifinal is in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl.
  15. 1. Oregon 2. Georgia 3. Boise State 4. Arizona State/Clemson 5. Notre Dame/Texas 6. Texas/Notre Dame 7. Penn State 8. Ohio State 9. Tennessee 10. Arizona State/Clemson 11. Indiana 12. SMU
  16. If Clemson makes this kick, good-bye to Alabama.
  17. Bama isn't going to make it, unless Clemson Clemson's another game.
  18. 6th seed is better for Texas, the semifinal is in the Cotton Bowl. Good chance, Georgia is not there anyway with their injuries today.
  19. The guys that were mentioned by IT were Phillips, Sanders, and Brew.
  20. Key is going to Georiga to be with his GF that plays softball there.
  21. Well, apparently we are setting the price for Justus Terry, so I would imagine we are going to pay top dollar.
  22. Just a reminder of the hole Bo Davis left at that position 2022 Kristopher Ross - gone 2022 Jaray Bledsoe - gone 2022 Zac Swanson - gone 2022 Aaron Bryant - 13 GP 2 total tackles. 2023 Sydir Mitchell - 8 GP 7 total tackles. 2024 Alex January - Freshmen 2024 Melvin Hills - RS Meanwhile, when he arrived he had Sweat, Murphy, Collins, Broughton, and Coburn.
  23. Anderson and Lindsey 100% please of the guys that have entered so far. I would want Branch from USC if he enters, he solves our likely STs need as the primary KR and PR.
  24. Glad we won, the ACC is likely the #5 P5 conference behind the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, and Big East. I will say this also, games like this are 100000 times better for the team than our current bog of non-conference scheduling. We need more games like this both home and on the road, than beating those tomato cans. Pomeroy has 364 teams listed, our current OOC schedule ranks 333. That's ridiculous and Del Conte needs to put a stop to it if Terry doesn't.
