First off I love Coach Sark. I dont think he is perfect but who is? I think offseason adjustments are needed but that’s every year. While not trying to be an alarmist about Sark leaving….First the Diana Rousini report. Now des howard talking about Sark being gone. Have heard many shows hinting…I know a lot of people want to think Diana is a “click bait” reporter, but she is not and even @Gerry Hamilton confirmed what she said was true. Des is Des, but he is not only one saying all of this. There is a lot of smoke here. Something to monitor. Would love for it to be untrue but with no focus on 2027 class, idk what to think. I dont disagree with film guy and think this level can for sure be improved. Think of how much progress he has shown just this season with no oline and questionable weapons. Te, wr and rb have all been inconsistent at BEST. I think it’s ok to acknowledge that Arch can work on layering throws but also be pumped about his growth. I view it as a positive that he still has areas he can improve and is already playing at a high level.

I Iike the film reviews because they do show that sometimes initial assessments are wrong. The film guy, brooks austin, would be really critical on first watch/on twitter, but then when he would actually break it down he’d usually be like “ohhhhh” and have more nuance. I feel the same with Chase. I havent ever been big on watching these style videos in past seasons but have enjoyed it this year. I wonder if the antsy feet is also bc he isn’t used to having time and is still working on the trust??? It can take time to break bad tendencies.

He will graduate from I think Texas, he is in his 4th year (assuming he graduates in December). He was really solid for us, maybe the injury is still nagging so he wants the chance to heal and get to start somewhere on both FGs and KOs. Makes sense to me. Shipley did fine on Kos when he had to do them, not too concerned
