  1. Rodriguez's third strikeout is the 10th of the night by the Longhorns.
  2. Forbes is closing in on 80 pitches. I can't imagine he'll be back out for the sixth.
  3. Schuessler leads off the fifth with a strikeout. That's the ninth for Forbes tonight.
  4. End of 4: Texas 2, Louisville 0
  5. Jake Munroe strikes out and that ends a quick fourth for Louisville. Spencer has only thrown 39 pitches through four.
  6. Spencer strikes out King, his fourth K of the night. Two quick outs in the fourth for Spencer.
  7. Ethan Mendoza with a nice defensive play to open the bottom of the fourth.
  8. Mendoza flies out to right to end the top of the fourth. The Longhorns are retired in order by Forbes.
  9. Galvan goes down on strikes for the second time tonight. Two away in the Texas fourth.
  10. Winfield strikes out to lead off the fourth, the seventh of the night by the Longhorns.
  11. End of 3: Texas 2, Louisville 0
  12. Schuessler retires Rose in foul territory and the inning is over. Spencer faces the minimum, allowing one hit and needing only five pitches to get out of the inning.
  13. It's a 1-3-6 putout by the Longhorns. It's hard to run on a lefty.
  14. Alicea gets picked off. Two down.
  15. The second Louisville hit off Spencer is a ground ball back up the middle.
  16. A one-out single by Alicea gets things going for Louisville in the third.
  17. Forbes got out of the jam, but he's up to 55 pitches. I can't imagine he'll go beyond 80 pitches tonight.
  18. Forbes wins this battle with Gasparino, striking him out to end the inning. The Longhorns leave 'em loaded in the third.
  19. Gasparino down to Forbes quickly, 0-2.
  20. She's the best pitcher in the country.
  21. The crew rules it a foul ball. Regardless, Farmer draws a walk, and the bases are loaded with two outs for Gasparino.
  22. There's a review to see if Farmer was hit by a pitch.
  23. Belyeu is 2-for-2. He singles down the left-field line and the inning continues.
