  1. Two-out, two-run double to the gap in left by Rodriguez. Texas leads Ole Miss 11-2 with RISP in the bottom of the seventh.
  2. Texas has a 9-2 lead and the bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the seventh.
  3. It’s a three-run sixth for Texas and the Longhorns aren’t done. Second Ole Miss pitching change of the inning with a runner on first and two outs.
  4. A base hit by Robbins and walks drawn by Mendoza and Becerra load the bases with two outs.
  5. Harrison gets out of a jam with RISP and two outs by striking out Bissetta.
  6. If y’all want to talk baseball, feel free. If you want to argue with each other and hurl insults, take it somewhere else. We don’t need another game thread derailed by nonsense.
  7. Coming off their first loss of the season, the Longhorns will look to bounce back and avoid a series loss to the Rebels at 2:30 p.m. (SEC Network Plus).
  8. Way too many insults back and forth. They need to stop.
  9. I’ve got a family obligation and won’t be around much tonight. Wanted to get the thread started regardless.
  10. It’s the SEC opener for the Longhorns, who put their 16-0 record on the line against the Rebels at 6:30 p.m. (SEC Network+) at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
  11. A what-if moment that doesn’t get talked about enough: How much deeper does Texas go in the 2002 NCAA Tournament with a healthy Chris Owens?
  12. I’d drop Day behind Cignetti and DeBoer. I’d also put Matt Campbell in the coin flip group. I don’t think he can get ever enough credit for making Iowa State a respectable football program.
  13. Duke has had too many great players to mention. Grant Hill, for a lot of different reasons, is the GOAT.
  14. That Kansas-Syracuse title game also gave us this legendary Roy Williams postgame interview (for those who don't know, he took the North Carolina job about a week after this interview):
  15. I wanted to bring this topic to the board because, as someone who is a "One Shining Moment" stan, the 2003 version hit me right in the feels when my YouTube algorithm suggested I watch it:
  16. College basketball might've been my favorite sport when I was a kid. I remember my brother and I messing with rabbit ears on an old TV to watch the Duke-UNLV semifinal in 1991. I hated Christian Laettner. I loved the Fab Five. The UConn-Georgetown Big East Tournament final in 1996 (Ray Allen vs. Allen Iverson) remains one of the most exciting basketball games I've ever watched at any level. For me, college basketball peaked during the 2003 season. Texas' run to the Final Four. I've followed it as a fan and media member since then, but I remember more about that tournament and that season than almost every tournament that's been played in the last 20-plus years. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it, and very few things are better as a sports fan than going to an arena for first and second-round NCAA Tournament games live, even if you don't have a dog in the fight. But T.J. Ford was captaining the ship for Texas to New Orleans, where Carmelo Anthony put an end to the Longhorns' title quest in the Superdome, when college basketball hit its absolute peak with me. What was that season for you? The one where your fandom, interest and love for college basketball was a 10 out of 10.
