    Thank you for the kind words, longhorn12345. I talked to Matt last week. The plan has been for me to get settled in here and the three of us will talk at some point. It's possible, but that's where things stand right now.

    The Senior Bowl was made for a guy like Sorrell. If he shows he can rush the passer, it’ll bump his stock. Playmaking potential at a premium position gets you drafted, plus he’s played a lot of high-level football against elite competition in his college career.

    For those who didn’t catch the news, Mark Bowman reclassified today from the 2027 to the 2026 class and he’s expected to be the No. 1 tight end in the rising senior class. On Texas Football expects Bowman’s decision to come down to either Texas or Georgia. Obviously, this is a massive recruitment for the Longhorns.

    I was in the sixth grade the last time the Cowboys made an NFC title game. I hope they make it back before my unborn grandchildren are in the sixth grade. My daughter is already halfway through first grade and I have no faith in things changing that soon.

    Not on a one-year rental who is a proven commodity. The only concern I have about Tate is he had a case of the drops in 2024. It felt like he had a LOT more than the three PFF charged him with this past season.

    I know it can happen, and it has worked, but I'm not big on taking portal centers. The only way I'd do it, if I were Sark and/or Flood, is if they didn't have faith in Hutson taking the job and/or felt Cruz wasn't ready. Never say never, but neither has been my impression; I think the staff likes what they've got.

    I'm less concerned about Neto at left guard than I am about who will be the center. I hope it's a true competition between Hutson, Cruz and Robertson and may the best man win. As for Neto, I don't worry about him physically holding up. I'm concerned about the time it will take for the unit to come together and how the communication will flow since Majors was so experienced and could handle the job. I think Sark and Flood need to figure out which staple run game concepts they can lean on. I felt like they were forcing the outside zone too much last season. It takes a long time to become a good zone-blocking line, so this group might benefit more from pin/pull stuff and creating leverage and angles to help out.
