Riojas' sixth strikeout leads off the seventh. He's up to 93 pitches. -
Farmer taking over in left field for Rodriguez and Chamberlain behind the plate for Galvan are the only defensive changes for Texas in the seventh.

I would say there's almost no chance you'll see Jonah on the mound, but he's worked there some. Jason Flores is up now, FWIW. He hasn't pitched in a while.

Whether Riojas has found his swing-and-miss stuff or K-State is trying to get out of here (a little bit of both, I think), doesn't matter. This is what Texas needed from Ruger.

It's a 14-run, 15-hit day for the Longhorns with K-State batting in the bottom of the sixth.

Adam Arthur isn't doing much better than JJ Slack for K-State. He walked Flores and then gave up an RBI single to Jonah Williams. As I was typing that out, Borba singled to left to bring Flores home. Texas has a 13-3 lead with two on and nobody out in the top of the sixth.

Rodriguez gets hit by a pitch in the leg to lead off the sixth for the Longhorns.
