  3. Doza comes home on a wild pitch. 4-0.
  4. Three Buckeyes lose the ball in the sun. That's tough for teams from the Midwest early in the season because they haven't been outside much. It's ruled a base hit for Robbins. Livingston scores to make it 3-0 in favor of the Longhorns.
  5. Tinney grounds out to first, but Jonah Williams crosses the plate with no throw home. It's a 2-0 lead for the Longhorns and RISP for Robbins with one out.
  6. Bases still loaded with nobody out for Tinney.
  7. Doza lines a 2-2 pitch to center. Borba scores and Texas is on the board, 1-0.
  8. I'm at the stadium, so it makes sense!
  9. Herrenbruck is getting a mound visit with Texas threatening to break the game open.
  10. Livingston draws a four-pitch walk. The bases are loaded with no outs for Mendoza.
  11. That's what you'd call a good piece of hitting by Jonah Williams. He gets ahead in the count and goes the other way, ripping a double into the left-field corner. It's RISP with no outs for Josh Livingston.
  12. Borba draws a leadoff walk in the top of the third, making him the first Longhorn baserunner today.
  13. After allowing two runners on base, Volantis strikes out the side to get out of the jam.
  14. Slider, a little bit of the sinker and the chanegup for Volantis.
  15. The Buckeyes are having trouble handling the breaking ball. That's not uncommon when teams face Volantis.
  16. Cavaco strikes out swinging for the first out of the inning.
  17. The Buckeyes have something cooking. Kaczmar lines one between Rodriguez and Mendoza into center field. Two on with nobody out in the Ohio State second.
  18. Volantis walks Furcht to open the second.
  19. The Longhorns go down in order in the top of the second. Herrenbruck has done a good job of keeping the ball down.
  20. A ground ball to first base ends an 11-pitch first inning for Volantis.
  21. I know the Astros can't play day games with the roof open because of the heat and humidity in Houston. Nevertheless, I love the look of this place when the roof is open for a day game.
  22. Volantis fell behind in the count and battled back to retire Ellis on a ground ball back to the mound.
