  1. Mendoza with a one-out single in the bottom of the sixth with Texas still trailing Auburn, 2-1.
  2. Poorly executed hit-and-run wipes out a leadoff single by Rodriguez.
  3. The Longhorns go down in order in the fourth.
  4. A two-out RBI single by Ethan Mendoza has Texas trailing Auburn by a run, 2-1, heading to the bottom of the fourth.
  5. Hopefully, it's like Duplantier's situation a few weeks ago, where they're being overly cautious.
  6. This isn't good. Spencer departs the game after getting behind in the count, 2-0.
  7. After Rembert kept the inning alive for Auburn with a two-out single to center, Ike Irish took Spencer deep to right field for a two-run home run. Auburn draws first blood in the top of the third, 2-0.
  8. The TV schedule for baseball is set well in advance. When it was made, Arkansas-A&M was the more attractive game, on paper. The A&M series next weekend is on SEC Network (Friday) and ESPN 2 (Saturday and Sunday).
  9. Gasparino's leadoff single is all for naught. Borba grounds into a 6-4-3 double play. Two down in the Texas second.
  10. Gasparino sends a rocket to McMurray at first base. He couldn't handle it, resulting in the first base hit of the game for either side.
  11. Spencer needed 18 pitches to get through the second, but he got Chase Fralick to ground out to first to end the Auburn threat.
  12. Spencer is trying to work around walking the leadoff man and hitting a batter. He just got Bristol Carter to pop up a bunt with Schuessler retiring him in foul territory. Two on, two down for Auburn in the second.
  13. Auburn has a runner on second with one out, but a tremendous defensive play by Casey Borba prevented an extra-base hit by Terrell.
  14. Flores grounds out to third to end the first.
