  1. And there it is. At 2:33 p.m., the game has entered a rain delay.
  2. I can't see this lasting much longer before it gets delayed.
  3. The rain is coming down as Partida doubles down the left-field line. It's a two-run double and the Aggies are up, 2-1.
  4. Grahovac singles to center to lead off the bottom of the first for the Aggies.
  5. Pack grounds into an inning-ending 4-6-3 double play. Nevertheless, Luke Harrison will take the mound with a lead.
  6. After last night's loss, Texas has taken advantage of two Aggie miscues to draw first blood today.
  7. Kellner can't hang onto Robbins' rocket to short. Mendoza scores, Robbins reaches base and Texas has the lead, 1-0.
  8. Tinney flies out to right, but it's deep enough to get Mendoza to third. With one out, Texas has the first run of the game 90 feet away from home plate.
  9. Mendoza leads off with a double to center. Sorrell crashed into the left-center field wall and couldn't secure the catch.
  10. The Longhorns are sending Luke Harrison to the mound, looking to avoid a series loss after Friday's 9-8 loss to the Aggies. Today's game is on ESPN2.
  11. To your point, Leffew had been good in his three appearances since the Auburn loss until tonight. The same goes for Crossland's five appearances since the Ole Miss loss.
  12. Texas has played five SEC series. The Longhorns are 1-4 in openers, with a run-rule win over OU and losses to Ole Miss, Auburn, South Carolina and the Aggies. Three of the four losses have been one-run losses.
  13. Seven walks, two wild pitches, one hit batter, at least one passed ball, an overturned CS and an error that led to what turned out to be the winning run scoring. And that's not counting Gumbo's misplayed ball in left field and other chances the Longhorns had to get outs that they let get away. It's tough to win anywhere, let alone on the road in the SEC, when you make that many mistakes.
  14. Luke Harrison gets the ball tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Texas trying to avoid a series loss.
  15. The Longhorns fall to 27-6 overall and 9-4 in the SEC after dropping the series opener.
  16. Heck of an opportunity for Borba, who has struck out four times tonight.
  17. Pack takes Freshcorn deep to right. It's a 9-8 game with one out in the top of the ninth.
