    ....is our fifth incoming basketball recruit that Coach Vic has signed for next year and she is very special. She hasn't received a lot of publicity, but I have seen a bunch of film on her. She is big and strong. 6'2", great handle, runs the floor really well, tough rebounder, and a deadly shooter! We are going to love these new recruits!

    The John Wooden years were the best. I am old. I met him in Las Vegas and actually sat with him while he waited for his ride. Forever gracious. His ride was Dale Brown of LSU who coached Shaq. That was a great afternoon.

    ...the girls stay FOUR years! Therefore, we get to know them. We see their progress each year. Obviously, the SEC is loaded, and I watch as many games as possible regardless of the team. I marvel at the talent. It's fun to envision us competing against OU and Chavez, Vandy with Blakes, South Carolina with Mighty Mouse...etc. The great men hoopers are one and done. You can't really be a part of their journey. We have Booker for four years!!! By the time she graduates, we are bonded with her. Do you agree?

    Collin Simmons has a greater purpose than just playing football. You can tell he has a perspective on what he needs to do. I see him making a huge impact in favor of special needs children. Especially those with autism. I have a son on the spectrum, fortunately on the lower end. I just give him his space.

    She's very unselfish. She gets her teammates involved. Is the voice in the huddle. Her skillset is like very few. She has a great personality. Maddie needs her jersey in the rafters when she graduates.

    Blair doesn't need to follow her dad at Texas. She needs to go forge her own trail. Once Coach Vic leaves, CDC will already have someone in mind. And that individual will be proven, have experience, and a winning record.

    I don't see Coach Vic going anywhere anytime soon. He runs daily, and loves his job. With the kids he's bringing in, why should he retire? I see him staying for another 10 years minimum. His assistant coaches need to get head jobs somewhere else and be part of the Vic coaching family.
