He probably won’t get fired, but I could definitely see him take an NFL job before the entire program collapses. After the Jack Sawyer scoop and score, I kept asking is this it? Is this Sark’s ceiling here? So far, unless drastic changes happen, the answer is most likely yes. Wild how quickly things can change in the era of NIL and the portal. It starts with Sark, but the entire offensive staff doesn’t seem to work well together. I thought by year three, Texas would have a top 10 offense every year, but the same issues remain every year. I would be raising hell if I were PK. Him and his staff have put in all this work to build top 10 defenses year in and year out, yet the offense can’t even execute middle school level plays. It’s sad.

2021 against Tech they scored 70. Really 63 because one of the TDs was on a pick six. That's the closest Sark's offense has looked to his Bama offenses since he's been at Texas. That offense was truly all gas no breaks.

If he plays this right, Michigan will start outrecruiting Ohio State and Oregon on a regular basis. That has not been the case for most of my lifetime. Not sure if they have the right coaching staff in place to maximize that talent, but something to watch over the next few recruiting cycles.

As long as CDC and Eltife are here, I doubt a 13 year down period like that ever happens again. If Sark does bolt for the NFL in a few years, I trust they will find the right guy to keep this thing humming. Keep the program at an Ohio State level where a down year is a 10-2 regular season and you’re winning a natty at least once a decade.

Unfortunately, there's quite a few fans around here that don't like Mack Brown because of how the last four seasons went. His name is like a curse word to some. I agree with you though. Brown did the same for Royal before he passed.
